Interesting comment left on one of my e-Juice reviews...
someone left this comment on one of my video reviews , i can't find anything to prove him wrong... but i also cant find anything to prove him correct either..
he said.
"I would strongly recommend staying away from any sweet tasting products because they would signal the brain to release glucose into the blood stream just like regular tobacco. High glucose in the blood is a path to faster old age and even diabetes. Good video nonetheless."
anyone have any ideas , i know that Tobacco does not trigger the brain to release glucose into the blood stream , rather it triggers the brain to release dopamine
so according to this guy , vaping on sweet flavored liquids like watermelon or chocolate will make us all diabetics ?

Hmm, I think he's trying to tell you your old..

No, I think that's gobbledegook. PG & VG are low carb additives. VG is a little more than 1/2 the sweetness of sucrose. 1 tsp of VG has about 27 cal. and 1 tsp = almost 5 ml. (I looked into this already because I have blood sugar issues). I would guess that PG probably is even less.
High doses of sugar will cause problems, but the tiny amts in PG & VG @1-3ml day of ejuice will not.
I have had other problems with PG/VG, but I did not have any changes in blood sugar.
Besides that, analogs have PG & glycerin in them anyway.

I'm a diabetic. When I get some time I'll do a series of blood sugars before and after vaping.
I rather doubt it will have any impact, but it's worth a finger in the air test.

and from what i understand... just a little back-asswards. when blood sugar levels are LOW your brain triggers a release of hormones that in turn trigger a rise in glucose levels.

I'm glad you are willing to take the stick test to find out. I went out and purchased a meter and noticed that after I vape my levels will go up past 150. My morning levels before I use any juice is around 85-90. So yes I can see what the poster is saying but I'm not a doctor. However I did stay at the Holiday in last week.
I think we all need to realize that there is no real data on E Cigs so saying that this is harmless is a bunch of BS. Nicotine itself is not the best thing for you let alone the other stuff in the juice. There is just not enough data yet to support for it or against it.

People should never assume that e-cigs are harmless. It seems logical that they are a safer alternative to cigarettes but that has yet to be proven in the long run.
What was the video and is it possibly that avoiding sweet flavors is better for all of us but especially diabetics?
Have you noticed if you had the same results with stick tests previously with analogs?
Does it make a difference with your levels if you vap with something that is not a sweet flavor?
Disclaimer: Not asking anyone to be a lab rat. Just wondering if anyone as noticed.

I'm willing to become a lab rat and measure my levels on video for a day or two. However it won't be that scientific since you would need long term studies. I will also spend a day off the vape and see me levels there as well. The only problem with is that I will have to go back to smoking analogs for the experiment.
