Question Too much nic = nauseous??

Some of you may have seen my thread where I conveyed my excitement at receiving my screwdriver............. Needless to say the damn thing has been glued to my hand(except for sleeping) since I got it on Saturday. I am quite sure that my vaping has increased significantly over the past 2 days. This evening I have started to feel nauseous. Haven't eaten anything unusual and up until I started feeling nauseous I felt fit as a fiddle.

Needless to say I have put down the SD for a while..........Any input would be appreciated.

Get no nic juice and keep one atomizer cartridge for this purpose only.

Ramblin, has the right idea if you think your getting to much nicotine, with the SD load your carts for it with lower Nic juice. then you can vape to your heart content.

I have a similar problem at night, when I'm sitting around watching TV. I puff almost nonstop. I've started mixing weaker juice for nighttime use to get around it.

I generally keep one highish strength cart and one low with me. I view it like when in a bar sometimes I want a cola, sometimes a beer and sometimes a shot of rotgut.

Come to think of it, I vape rather like drinking - being able to take a sip of vapour every now and then instead of having the ticking clock of a burning-down cigarette makes things so much more relaxed.

yep, too much nicotine. I've often had the same thing happen when chain smoking analogs.

I do the same thing. The nonstop puffing at night. Couple nights ago I woke up an hour after I went to bed and felt sick and really hot. I knew exactly what it was so now I make an effort not to puff more than a couple minutes an hour on 11mg.

I think my OP may have been a false alarm.............2 colleagues that I ate with yesterday also felt sick last night. Guess it was a slight case of food poisoning. Oh well, back to vaping..........(But I am going to heed some of the advice in this thread.......thanks)

I stopped cigarettes 8 days ago and didn't realize I was getting way too much nicotine. I had a major panic attack all night last night and had to go to the doctor today. It wasn't fun so be very careful. When I can go back to it I'm going to only take 20 puffs and stop for 30 minutes to an hour. I was trying to use the zero nicotine, but my mistake was mixing in a used cartridge that had nicotine and using the same atomizer. I learned the hard way.

The good side is that I had no problem putting the cigarettes down. I also really believe that the nicotine in the juice is not nearly as addictive as the nicotine in cigarettes. I didn't have that immediate urge to smoke in the morning and probably could have gone a long time without nicotine if I didn't have such a habit of smoking. My goal is to get off the nicotine completely.

I find I like to use Zero with maybe some Low for long vaping sessions, and short spikes of High when I want a kick.

The difficulty has been the very slow realisation that I do NOT have to stick to one strength like I did with analogs.

A month ago I thought I had to replace the analogs with one strength. This is a fallacy. It may even be that intake rises steadily in hopes of reaching a spike to break the monotony of that kind of stability.

IMHO the body is far more comfortable with flexibility and responds happily to the relatively harmless fun of long zero vaping and the contrasting zing of the spikes.

Just my tuppence worth. And hope yr feeling better Elendil!
