Default Do you notice any difference in cold/flu frequency since vaping?

With the study that suggests Propylene Glycol is a germacide, I just thought it'd be interesting to get an idea if people notice any difference in how often they get sick (with colds/flus) since vaping.

I currently have a nasty cold... I've been vaping all day and I've already noticed that the vapor is helping to break up the crap in my lungs.. Now I'm not going to say this is a miracle or coincidense but, it seems to be helping..

Woops, I think I screwed up. I should have just asked about flu's since PG apparently isn't anti-viral. I don't think I can fix it now.

That's interesting that you noticed that it's breaking up the crud in your lungs though. I noticed that when I started vaping, my smokers cough just went away. I thought it was odd because everytime I have quit smoking in the past it has actually worsened for a couple of weeks or so.

I have yet to receive my e cig so I am stuck on analogs. One thing i did notice was that when i stopped using namebrands and switched to making my own cigarettes I was hardly ever sick. I used to be sick all the time now I am never sick.

I think its because all the garbage they put in namebrand analog cigs

I only get sick about once a year, so I think this might be long trial for me.
However, the last few years of smoking analogs, i have had this congestion, of crap that I HAVE TO COUGH UP AND SPIT OUT every morning and throughout the day.....I di notice that that has been going away slowly with just a few spits a day now.

I've definitely noticed a decrease in cold/flu sine starting to vape. Normally I catch every bug that's going around. My brother and my co-workers recently came down with a nasty cough, with runny nose, and vomiting.
I didn't catch it this time!

Maybe it's just coincidence, or maybe those people came down with something I've already had. Either way I haven't been sick since I've started vaping. Works for me!

I'm a pretty healthy person and could be around 1000 people who are sick and the only time I would catch anything was when my son got it. And it became like a ritual....from Nov to April, he would catch a cold...a couple days later I would get it...then we'd both have it for 1 to 2 weeks. Then there'd be about a month break and it would start over again. And this has gone on for years.

Last Nov, he started it, a few days later I caught it and I was in my second day of it when I started vaping. That weekend I was sicker than a dog, then it went away and I haven't had another one since. Funny thing is, my son caught a second one in Feb and I never got it. Also, this usually went on 3-4 times a winter and this year, he only got sick twice....which I think is phenomenal in itself!

A cold is viral, so I dont see how the germicidal properties of PG would help much.
I know that it tastes bad like a cig kinda of when I have alergies with cold like symptoms.

Whilst everyone else in my family got a nasty cold that hung on for 2 weeks i got a couple of small symtons such as a minor sore throat and a sniffle that came and went within a day.

Funnily enough when I was smoking I also rarely caught the colds and flus going around either.

Maybe i'm just special i dunno.

Thats true but viral flu can sometimes cause bacterial infections which complicates the flu and makes you feel worse. So PG could potentially help. I guess i'm hoping it does.

But vaping when sick feels much better compared to smoking analogs.
