Default I have the flu andVaping is soothing my lungs!

I'm sick I have a cold the flu etc. My lungs when I cough are on fire. I went to the Doc and he agreed with my choices of Guafesin (Expectorant) and Pseudophedrine and added an antibiotic.

Now I've noticed something. As long as I'm vaping constantly my lungs feel fine. If I stop vaping after an hour or so I cough and it's very painful.

    So the question is. ?

Is the PG Vaping soothing my lungs. If so is it good for them? Would it be better to stop vaping and be coughing and uncomfortable.?

    Any thoughts

soothing ... is like a temporary bandaid ... much like cough drops and throat lozenges ...

as long as you don't feel the progression of your illness getting worse, and its in fact soothing the pain ... i still do it ...

my $.02 cents ... Have you talked to your MD about it?

Yeah it is probably putting a little moisture in your lungs when the vapor soakes in.

There is scientific evidence that inhaled PG vapor can prevent influenza from progressing to a far more fatal bacterial pneumonia. Ask your doctor, but reason seems to indicate that continued vaping of low- or no-nic PG would soothe your lungs and hasten recovery.

When I last had the flu in Fall, I vaped menthol continuously and I recovered within a week. It did seem to soothe my lungs and throat just as you described .

I may be totaly wrong, but I believe its the water vapor in e-cigs that will add moisture to the lungs, not so much the PG. The PG, as mentioned above is the antimicrobial.
And if you think Cash's girl is hot, you oughtta see my wife! LOL! Hell, all our wives and girlfriends are hot arent they
