Question Heart attack after 1 month of vaping

Smoked 45 years, before vaping in the morning I had 4 hours before having to go to work and would drink large amounts of coffee ( 6-10 cups ) and smoke 10-15 analogs.
Been vaping fo over a month, 3 days ago had a heart attack and a stent implanted. Anyone have a similar experience? Smoked 2+ PAD for over 40 years so I don't think
the heart attack was caused by vaping, if anything, I think the fact I stopped analogs and started vaping may have saved my life but I was vaping 18ml like a horse and still
drinking massive amounts of coffee. While in the hospital asked a nurse and they said anything to help cessation is not necessarily a bad thing. I think I was not keeping myself
hydrated enough. Have an appointment with cardiologist in 2 weeks and going to mention the e cig thing, curious as to what he will say. I imagine he'll suggest total cessation.
I'm thinking if anything I should cut my nic level to 6 or 0 ml if I am going to continue vaping.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhe...H0004449/There is many factors related to heart attacks. Caffeine and nicotine as well as many other drugs can effect the cardiovascular system. What type of stent did you have placed? My DH just had a open heart bypass surgery (Oct.) His situation with heart was occlusion.

Your thread is very alarming. If you need some help with sites related to heart disease let me know.

Been there myself. Im sure you have a strong history of family related heart problems. This is something caused by way of life and genetics. I highly doubt that vaping was any cause of this. Im sure the years of cheeseburgers, coffee, chain smoking and many other things help contribute to your problem. The best thing you can do is stay off the analogs. They are now going to give you blood thinners and beta blockers. Smoking analogs will only restric oxygen to your blood cells and make things worse for you.

Glad to hear you are ok but you need to change something in your lifestyle. Staying off the analogs is already the hardest part. Just keep talking to your Dr and follow his advice.

Guy I hate to hear the bad news. What cloggs up everything is the 40 years of cig smoking you did. Tar is the worst. Nicotine I'm sure didn't help nor did the caffeine but it isn't as bad as the tar in your arteries. Get well and try and have a wonderful holiday. Please keep us updated and what the doctor tells you. I'm curious to see if he's done his homework yet. My doctor has via me. I switched her over and now we're vaping partners. We always swap juices and gear just to see what we like and dislike. Good advantage on my part. She has money and I get to test drive. It's a win/win situation but she hits me up to try juice so it evens out. All-the-same, please take care of yourself and report back please.
