Crohns Disease
Does anyone here have Crohns Disease, and if so has vaping caused any good or bad or just different noticable side effects?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

I have Crohns and so does my younger brother. We both vape and neither of us have noticed any side effects in that regard. Hope you don't either!

Greetings
Hello there, Thank you for the reply. As Im sure we both know Crohns is tuff, and I just dont want to make anything worse. Do you use PG or VG?

I was diagnosed with Crohns about a year ago and I quit analogs and started vaping one month ago. I havent noticed any differences yet but I'll let you know. My Crohns is mild...but I will keep you updated.

I don't have Chrons so can't comment but, in my COPD internet travels, I've noticed a lot of praise for low dose naltrexone for use with Chrons as well as many other diseases.

Didn't know that it was previant. Glad vaping doesn't seem to make it worse.
I'd like to invite you all to

Crohn's
I have crohn's as well. I have heard varied arguments as to whether smoking analogs helps or hurts crohn's sufferers, and I guess I am the odd one out..smoking actually didn't seem to affect me either way, when I smoked, when I quit, or when I restarted---
Switched to vaping 3 weeks ago---and no difference either way.
The things that seem to affect my crohn's have little relation to what the medical journals say. My doctor always just tells me to try it, and if it bothers me, to discontinue it...so that is what I've always done.
I eat almost everything but more than a handful of popcorn or nuts, and I try to not eat too much lettuce. Fresh fruit makes me nauseous, so I avoid it. Alcohol doesn't seem to bother me either.
They say that those with ulcerative colitis have a better outcome with nicotine consumption, however I can't compare or comment on that. I do know that crohn's sufferers are generally not supposed to smoke, it tends to affect them negatively...again, I am not the norm.
