wv, with all due respect, I really dont think this was designed to be a scare thread. My impression is that this is a newer vaper, heard that getting liquid on you might be a bad thing, so they posted the question for final thoughts on the subject.
Nicotine is a VERY dangerous substance. Going from smoking cigarettes, to squeezing out liquid nicotine into a cartridge can a bit unsettleing when you are new to it. I would ecourage any kind of inquiry such as this. Its how we educate and inform. If I've misunderstood your response here, I apologize.

I agree VP. I wish I would have know about this forum when I first started vaping. It is better to ask questions when in doubt. That is how we all learn when we read the posts.

Come to think of it, when I quit cigarettes a few years ago (cold turkey) I really felt unwell, spaced out, just strange. could it be withdrawls from analogs?

I doubt getting ejuice on you in any usual sized bottle will do anything. You would need 60ml of a "1000mg" str solution to kill you. Unless my math is wrong, or I misunderstand 36mg to mean 3.6% pure or 36 out of 1000 mg's when it is something else.

I agree that it wasn't a scare thread. I've just seen so many of them: i.e. I'm constipated, I have acne, I trip more than I use to - all due to vaping, that I decided to "vent". It was not met as a "rip" on the OP.

I gave a pharmicist the forum web address because she wanted to research PV's.. The next week when I saw her, her comment was that she read so many threads of people having bad reactions due to vaping that she couldn't possibly recommend this to anyone and that vaping is way too dangerious. It's this type of information that will continue to turn people against vaping.

Ah! Point taken. But on the same hand, for a pharmicist to disregard the entire product as a good thing based on some scared peoples posts, rather than researching the product as a whole is not doing the medical field, or herself, any good. I remember when apples were good for you. Now they appearently cause cancer. People need to take it upon themselves to discern the good info from the bad. If the pharmicist cannot do that, you probably dont want her anyway. And lets not forget what the first five letters in her job title spell. LOL!
And yes people are going to ask if symptoms that appear are related to vaping. Why? Because its new. And we dont know what it can cause. Like it or not, these concerns would pretty much cease if proper research had been done at the outset.

My best,
-VP

ONE DROP OF A 1000MG SOLUTION CAN KILL YOU. Yes you can spill the stuff we use on you but if it's very much wash it off.

You should never throw out facts this blatantly wrong. Yes most people overreact to the dangers but posting something this far from accurate is dangerous.

I tried cold turkey while waiting for my Vapor King to arrive. I only had two days until it came in the mail, so I thought, "No big deal, I can handle it!" Yeah, well, I all but fell out of my chair at work from the dizziness, felt as if I werent myself, and spaced out.... that is until I threw a patch on and got some Nic into my system. The symptoms went away within 30 minutes. So for me, your withdrawl was the same as mine.
So you quit a few years ago, are you vaping 0mg juice now? Or did you go back to nicotine juice?

My best,
-VP

Its mentioned over and over again on this forum how dangerous nicotine is and that its a poison...But is there any actual studies or facts that show at what percentage or amount can kill you? And If dripped on your skin how much is actual absorbed into your blood stream?

I think this has turned into more of an urban myth then anything close to fact anymore...Some people on this forum vape 4-5 ml of 36 mg liquid through out the day, some more...you would think vaping would be more affective then skin contact

I appreciate you wanting to keep people safe but I think you are wrong, and reading 1000mg to mean the drop contains 1000mg. I could be wrong, and I may be; but I doubt that when they say it's 36mg liquid they mean each drop is 36mg (being 60mg's is the "you die" number), it seems much more logical that they mean it 36mg out of 1000, or 3.6% "pure". If this is the case then a "1000mg" solution is 1000mg out of 1000mg's which means it's pure.

Wiki, Uncle Google, all the spec sheets from chem supply places selling nicotine, all say 60.
