Default Dental issues / brown teeth

I've had a look on the forums and can't see and prior discussions.

All the time I smoked, my teeth didn't change at all. But I'm noticing a brown staining on my teeth now after a couple of months on e-cigs. Nothing else has changed in my lifestyle, so not sure what else to put it down to.

Has anyone else experienced this?

No, but I think I may be sensitive to the sugar content in some of the juice as it's made my teeth kinda achy like I've eaten too much sugar. But no discoloration (other than what was there to begin with from smoking for almost 30 years.)

My teeth are actually getting whiter since i quit smoking, but I was a cigg for a friend the other day, and after just holding it for 5 mins I noticed my fingers had a slightly yellowish tint to them. I'm guessing that was either from nic or tar, so if it was from nic then maybe the nic is making your teeth brownish, but I doubt that for some reason. You should stop drinking coffee

I've always been led to believe it was the tar that discolours in tobacco. Anyway, e-cigs seem to dehydrate you and I noticed I was drinking way more tea and coffee so I started drinking plenty of water to compensate and avoid coffee teeth.

Let me re-word. The sweetness of the liquid hurts my teeth.

Ah, fair enough. I don't drink coffee, gave that up a while before I started vaping. I drink decaffinated tea and rooibos tea though. Don't drink coke.

I know what Michele means about the sugary ache feeling when vaping. That's happened to me.

The tannin in tea causes staining.... could that be it?

I know when I vape, my mouth is very dry. And I definitely accumulate more plaque because of it.

I could go a day without brushing my teeth before, and I would be fine.
But now, I have to brush my teeth twice a day (or at least once! haha), otherwise it drives me nuts with all the plaque

(Yeah yeah yeah, I know... SUPPOSED to brush 2-3 times a day. /rolleyes)

Maybe the brown spots have something to do with the dryness
I haven't noticed any discoloration in my teeth. But I use arm and hammer whitening booster everytime I brush, hehe!

Dry mouth you people say??? I've got a simple solution for that overfill your carts and when you get the hot nic juice in your mouth, it'll cure the dry mouth
