As far as I know no one has ever tried this, but I'm very curious about it. In the past I've gotten some juice in my mouth and it seems to give me a nice buzz. I feel like it's its only a matter of time before people start experimenting with direct application of nicotine liquid, whether it be to the mouth, eyes, nose etc. What your guys thoughts on this?
burn you damn eyeball you troll.....liquid would suck the juice out of your eye and leave you in pain for days...

Robert: It could be. I'm only some months shy of hitting 40. I'm afraid I will spend much of my birthday this year as I did my birthday the year I turned 30 and that was laid out across the bed most of the day crying my eyes out. It's worse now because I have a 21, almost 22-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old daughter as well. I don't know where my 20s or my 30s went but they sure did go somewhere that I can't find them.

BTW, if the FDA does have their prospective noses in our business here, I hope they read this post good and loud and share it along the ranks.

I had my check up today for lupus and Sjogren's disease. My appts run every 30 days because the medications I take, well some of them anyhow, are only available after an appt with my doctor. He can't write the script unless I am physically in his office for an appt.

You have to remember I have been a heavy to moderate to light to moderate to heavy smoker and even heavy-heavy smoker for more than 25 years. I began smoking when I was about 12 to 13 years old.

I began using the E-cig on July 7th, 09, and up until 14-some days ago, I was still smoking 1 to 3 a day depending upon how well the day went and how stressed I became; however, these last 2 weeks or more, I have ONLY used the E-CIGs without ANY use of the analog aka tobacco leaf-filled cigarettes.

Upon examination, my doctor was blown away! This was the first time I had ever been in his office where I didn't have any wheezing, crackles, or franks. He couldn't believe it. I showed him my Janty E-cigs and gave him the various reports where doctors and that group from Auckland University who did the study on e-cigarettes as compared to regular cigarettes and how they find them not dangerous and containing no cancer-causing ingredients nor any of the carcinogens such as the regular tobacco cigarettes contain.

My doctor, who has been on me for years now since he bought the practice from my former doctor when he retired, has been at me to quit smoking nearly at every visit because of the damage the cigarettes were doing to my lungs. Now he wants me to let everyone I know become aware of the E-cigarettes because if I am any indication as to the outcome of using E-cigs versus tobacco analog cigs then he would much prefer his patients using the E-cigs like I am using them. The proof is quite literally in the stethoscope pudding, if you will.

No crackles, no wheezes, no franks, no nothing. My chest was clear as a bell as was my sinuses for a change. He even went so far as to say that he wouldn't have a problem if I continued to smoke the E-cigarettes as long as I stayed on the type I am smoking with regards to liquids that do not contain the tobacco-analog-cig carcinogens, which as we all know are not present in the e-liquid we buy or the pre-filled cartridges.

BTW, I did tell him about the nitrosamines or whatever that was they found in almost undetectable amounts and before I could explain the high dosage of it in tobacco cigarettes and the gum, patch, and Niq inhaler as well as foods we eat, he beat me to it.

So, the FDA can take a flying leap. My doctor is the most satisfied with my health with regards to my breathing and my lungs than he has been since I first had him for a doc visit after the retirement of my former doctor about 3-4+ years ago.

It was so funny that he asked me to please spread the word among the smokers in this county and try to have them to change to e-cigs as well as any other smoker I run across.

Ecigs work. I'm living proof of it.

I wouldnt admit to thinking while typing that, better to just say it was a random blurb you typed before your head had a chance to intervene and stop your fingers from touching the keyboard.

That you are, in reality, either only 12 years old.... or, if you are actually over 18 years of age, that the '12 years old' applies to the level of your maturity.

I would suggest that you give up vaping instantly - since this is a pastime for adults only.

This idiot really is only 12 years old or, more probably, another FDA plant. They seem to have the same IQ's and seem to think that everyone else does, too.

Haha...if you leave a thread for long enough, the nutters always appear!

Thanks again to the genuine posters out there. For anyone interested to know, I saw an optician a few days ago and had a full eye test. I was greatly relieved to find out that my eyesight is fine and hasn't deteriorated at all in the 5 or so years since my last test. the optician hadn't heard of e-cigs and was only vaguely aware of Propylene Glycol and so couldn't really offer an explanation.

I should now really see my regular doctor, however, I may be getting to the bottom of it. I took delivery of a bottle of Ecopure low-nicotine VG juice 3 days ago. Obviously, 3 days is hardly long enough to carry out conclusive tests, but the blurred vision problem seems to have retreated. I'm planning to stick with the VG juice for another week or so and if the vision issue doesn't resurface, then I'll throw in a day or 2 on PG and see if it comes back. It could be, as many good folk suggested, that I have an intolerance to PG. Anyway, I'll be back with my findings soon.

As for being an FDA stooge - all I can say is that, being British, I wasn't entirely sure who the FDA were without looking it up! I may be new here, but I'd be far more suspicious of folk who write total drivel on their first post and also those who switch profile names.

Thanks for this. I'm brand new to this and only got my e cig today and noticed a slight blurry-ness (I'd say a more liquidy effect) after no more than a half days use. Not happy about that one bit.

I'll be getting this VG (whatever it is? don't worry, I know how to search).

Might try a lower nicotine level also but thought I'd easy handle 18mg but hey, I take short drags and can kill a real cig in 20 tokes in under 2 minutes (this is very different).

    Cheers Jim

Three weeks into vaping and I went blind in my right eye for 5mins - scary as ****!!!! Went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, my eye had no blood in it. It was at night and I switched the light on/off. seemed to dilate properly,

seen an eye doc and he said everything LOOKED normal. Then went to get an MRI and MRA (whatever that is) on my brain. Was told everything looked normal there too! Mentioned to them that if they really knew me that that cant be entirely correct but I digress..

So it looks like im clear of any stroke/clogged artery action I guess?!?!? Not sure if they can tell anything about clogged arteries from the MRI/MRA

Did some heart tests and havent heard the results yet but I assume its somewhat ok because that was about 3 weeks ago... I should get around to calling them back to confirm...

after racking up a rather large bill I don't know where else to go with this one?!?!?
