I have been one week analog free since I got my 510 in the mail. I smoked about a pack of day for 18 years or so.

I have noticed I can breathe clearer, I'm not winded from running up the stairs, I have high blood pressure, and I've noticed my average is down from 138/89 to 127/74. I'm excited about my health!

My wife is also on the E-Cig and needless to say she's excited too.

One aspect I've noticed the most is my smell and taste. I'd like to think I have a somewhat refined palate. I love to eat, and I love to cook. I've noticed in tasting foods since I've quit, I can taste more aspects of flavors. It's hard to explain. I made a bolognese sauce that I've made hundreds of times the other night. Perhaps it a tad psychological, but I swear I tasted every ingredient and how they married together. I know it sounds silly, but I'm looking forward to creating my favorite dishes, and in essence tasting them for the first time.

That is not at all silly Doc. I've grown up in a culinary family and even plied the trade for years. I'm also the cook of the house and find that since I switched to the e-cig I am moderating my seasoning more and I use a LOT less salt. Now I'm using salt to crisp foods instead of "accentuate flavor". I can also smell the temperature of foods now... sounds odd but I have yet to have anything overcook or burn since I switched. I can smell if my pasta is done from across the house hehe.

I'm also in the same boat as Dabrat. I'm former military and once I left the cigarettes took over. My mandatory exercise became "OMG 3 flights of stairs?!?!" *head explosion*

Since switching I can run again and have the spare energy at my beck and call. I actually wake up in the morning thinking "I gotta do something with this energy." What happens next depends on my wife or how cold it is outside.

I have chronic bronchitis, switched to the ecig 2 weeks ago and I am noticing the bike ride to work (I live 1/2 mile away why use gas?) is soooooo much easier. Although I am hocking up insane amounts of gunk... but thats a good sign I suppose.

By the way I was a pack every 24-30 hour smoker since 13.
