Did anyone else cut their alcohol consumption after they started vaping?

I've noticed that I don't drink as much alcohol now. I always have a glass of water on hand as hydration is important. I've cut my weekend 2-3 glasses of red wine down to 1 glass or just half a glass. Since vaping makes me thirsty, I find water is the only thing I want to drink.

9 months smoke free since day one!
Now almost alcohol free too.

I've never been a big drinker other than a few parties/celebrations, but I would consistently go thru a 12 pack of beer over the course of a month. That small amount is even lower now. I bought a 12 for New Year's Eve, and there are 10 left. I just prefer water now.

I'm not much of a drinker, maybe a few beers within 6 months or so. I have noticed, though, that since I quit smoking, beer tastes off to me. It almost tastes stale to me now. The only other thing that tastes off to me is orange soda. I used to love it, now, it's just gross.
