I'd quit my E-Cig and moved back to regular smokes, which was a freakin terrible idea because I chained smoked like never before for 2 weeks. But I did so because the E-Cig was giving me a persistent and annoying sore throat that didn't go away after 4 weeks of vaping and I'm just curious if anybody else had this issue for longer than a month? Anyway, I'm switching back today - a sore throat has got to be better than how I felt this morning. |

I see alot of people withdrawing in my profession. And what I can say is that itching, aches, flu like symptoms, hot and cold, sweats, anxiety, are also symptoms of drug withdrawel. I know nicotine is an addicting drug, but you never know what else is addicting in an analog. I'm sure there are several additives in ther that could be. Or those other analog chemicals could also enhance the addiction to nicotine.

Had an annual scheduled check up yesterday after 31 days vaping. Previously smoked for 48 years 30-40 analogs per day. Breathing is much better, sense of smell has returned, sleeping much better. Blood samples red not purple :-) BP up a little, since last annual check up. But I put on a good 10 pounds since then and before starting to vape because I stopped going to the gym at Christmas and have been eating too many bacon sandwiches this winter. Doc v pleased anyway. Peak flow meter shows big improvement. Suggested I gradually cut out my asthma medication. He says the brown flecks in phlegm are signs of cell regeneration.

I've smoked a pack a day for 34 years. I ordered my 901 Monday, got it, and I'm charging up the battery. Now I have anxiety and my stomach feels queasy. Heartburn this morning. And up thru today, I've been smoking more. Is there anyone that went thru the same thing?

Oh yea, one more thing. Hangover symptoms are caused by dehydration. How many symptoms do you have that feel like a hangover? People here are correct when they say drink alot of fluids, at least 64 ounces, maybe more, esp in the morning. | |

Hi Seminolewind, Have yr heartburn in mind when I say be sure you start on the same or lower dose of nic that you get from yr analogs, to avoid Od ing on the nic which has caused heartburn for some folks. Wish I knew which thread the info is on about calculating yr intake. Will post it if I can find it. Hope this helps you feel calmer. |

| For Seminolewind I have this annoying habit of saving quotes to a Word doc when I think they will be handy. However, I don't attribute the quotes, so I hope the original posters won't be miffed. Sorry guys! ![]() 1. <<An Easy Way to Control Your Vaping Okay, from all my learning and reading here, many people say that they are vaping too much, don't know how much nic they are intaking, and so forth. I'm just doing this a very simple way. I have a 4 ml little glass bottle. I know that 1/2 of it is 2 ml. I smoked a pack a day of regular ciggys. I use the 11 ml strength which means that 2 ml of 11 a day would equal about 22 regular ciggys. So I pick my juice of the day, stay on that bottle all day, don't do more than 2 ml which I don't even come close, PLUS I dillute that 11 by 25 to 50% so I KNOW I'm taking in way less nic than I used to, but it feels like I'm vaping more. >> 2. <<A general guide to cartridges: Super Minis (RN4081, RN4088, DSE103, etc...): About 1-3 cigs worth (20-30 puffs) They hold around 0.3ml of eliquid. Mini (DSE901, etc...): 5-6 cigs worth (50-75 puffs depending on how you puff) They hold around 0.5ml of eliquid. Penstyle/classic (DSE801, RN4072, etc...): 7-10 cigs worth (up to about 100 puffs) They hold around 1ml of eliquid. eCigar: 10-12 cigs worth (up to about 120-130 puffs) They hold around 1.2ml of eliquid. Pipe (DSE601, etc...) At least 14-15 cigs worth.>> 3. <<Most people vape between 1 and 2mls of e-juice per day if that helps. >> 4. <<Katink gave some good advice earlier to someone. Try at first to get close to your usual dose, so if you smoked 20x full strength 1mg cigs a day you would need 20mg of nic - that's 2ml of 10mg. Once you have tried it then adjust the strength up or down gradually as desired. That way you aren't starting with massive doses for your level of tolerance but are still getting enough to wean you off the tobacco.>> |
