Hi got my 901 yesterday, charged the battery over night, and started this morning. It's pretty good, about what I thought I'd expect. But waahhhhhh! They sent 4 prefilled and that's for today and what do I do tomorrow? I guess I'll try cutting with glycerin, and........wait. I really haven't cut down on my analogs yet. Does it take a few days?

It really is a very variable experience. Folks are all a bit different and start out with different materials anyway. So it's hard to give advice about an "ideal" start. Go with the flow and have supplies of what you fancy for as far ahead as yr budget permits. You might not want to or have to revert to analogs if you have enough to vape. Keep an open mind, but the analogs might taste foul - one puff the day I started vaping was enough to tell me I'd not be going back and that I'd have to stock up on vapes. Happy vaping, Seminole! |

I was a 1-to-2 pack/day smoker for 25 years. Started vaping a month ago, settling on 18-24mg as a good nic level to keep the headaches at bay. But this is only Day 4 of quitting the analogs completely, and my body's just now realizing what's happening and throwing a major temper tantrum! All my senses are waking up, but on the wrong side of the bed. Cursing me for all the damage I've done. Positive symptoms: smoker's hack disappeared almost immediately, though I'm still coughing up the "lung cookies". SF hill-climbing seems a wee bit easier now. Boyfriend says I smell much nicer. Negatives: Got a stiff neck about a week ago -- I have a muscle next to my right shoulder-blade that seizes up occasionally, leading to a stiff neck. It's the same old muscle bothering me now, so maybe it's related to the vaping or maybe not. But on Day 3, here comes the proverbial smoker's flu! Well, a head-cold, not as bad as the real flu. My throat's on fire, my nose is all stuffed up and I'm just achy all over. Blecch. But I'm determined to get through this. I'm convinced after reading all these messages that my body is just kickin' up a lot of dust right now, and this too shall pass. (But please hurry!) |

A lot of the symptoms people are reporting (dry throat, dry skin, muscle cramping, headache, etc.) can be symptoms of dehydration. It is not only the PG that can do this--nicotine itself is a serious diuretic, causing excessive water loss, urination and dryness. In my experience with vaping that it is *very* easy to inhale much more nicotine than with cigarettes. The other materials in the cigarettes (particularly carbon monoxide I think) provide immediate warning symptoms about how much we're smoking. The vaping is so pure and generally free of immediate side effects that it's possible to "smoke" a lot more. This was my experience and I quickly went from medium fluids to low, to low diluted 50/50 with VG. This last formula is plenty of nicotine for me and I was a fairly heavy smoker. I thinking the vaporisers are a Godsend. If the FDA were interested in public health they'd be educating us about how to use them to maximum advantage. Wally |

I experienced a sore throat and dry mouth when vaping but it wasn't too bad. I was able to cut down to 4 or 5 analogs instead of my usual 20. My breathing and energy level improved. After a week, my e cigarette died. I am back to smoking analogs until I get a new model, and do I ever feel sick today...very nauseous.

I thought I've been lucky so far, not suffering from any major side affects from vaping. But this past week I've noticed I've been retaining water. I do drink a lot of water to prevent dehydration, but suddenly my body seems to be retaining lots more then usual so much so that it makes me feel very unconfortable. Swollen feet, legs, hands and sometimes my abdomin. I've never experience this before. Has anyone else experienced this, is it just a withdrawl symptom , will it pass? ![]()

I have the opossite effect of not retaining water, I had to stop vaping for a few days because of the nasal dryness and constipation after the first 5 days, even after drinking lots of water, now I'm back to analogs I had such high hopes for e-cigs as my salvation from tobacco that I ordered a bunch of juice and atomizers, but I'm really drepessed that I might not be able to continue vaping. Anybody had this happen? I'm going to try to ease into it again next week, wish me luck.
