Hi all, One symptom that has been unexpected is the "throat hit" I get in the morning from E-cigs. Sends me into complete spasms of coughing. I have NO sore throat whatsoever. Only this "catch me by surprise coughing" when I start vaping with my morning coffee. Found this interesting. (Use the 510.) I'm wondering if this has to do with the level of nicotine I'm using. I used to smoke ultra-lights analogs and wasn't even sure what a "throat hit" was until I started vaping. Now I "get" the term and am using 18mg juice. Did I go too strong in my quest to avoid withdrawal symptoms? I've had NONE. Any thoughts on the mg issue? I hope this isn't the PG, because I've stocked up. (I guess next on my list is exploring my need to hoard. )

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this before but I think I should add my $0.02 on the matter... I see in the OP and then a few posts before me people talking about getting breakouts? Honestly that's confusing me because I've always had bad skin..(started getting acne at like 7 and couldn't get it even slightly in control til after I was 18) Since I started vaping I don't have to fight so hard to keep it under control so it seems like either vaping or quitting smoking (obviously cant tell which) has caused my skin to clear up, quite a bit actually, I'd say it's 50% clearer than it was before with no changes to my skincare routine.. Though it makes me wonder i those that are experiencing breakouts might be touching their faces with juice on their hands and maybe the pure juice causes it? With my skin I always make a point of keeping hands clear of my face because of the hand oil-breakout thing... I would think people with decent skin wouldn't have such qualms... might be something that someone might be interested into looking in to.. no offense to anyone but I'm not about to do anything to risk a breakout to test this for anyone else's benefit.. I'm not THAT nice ![]() Hope my reply made sense.. 6 cups of jet fuel (coffee) today so I'm a bit scatter brained |

The only physical difference I have noticed is my back itches much more! It dos not matter whether it is hot or cold, humid or dry, a few times a day I get intense back itch, of course in spots thst are hard to scratch. Once I get to scratching I do not want to stop, I imagine actually scratching till I draw blood. I am pretty sure this is just me......

I didn't read the whole thread because I'm on here through my phone. But I did read the first few pages. I was so excited to get my e cig(s) but now I'm a little scared. I've been smoking 1-2 packs a day for over 10 years. I was looking toward the bennifits of no tar and carsonogens, but my two worst feelings are headaches and soar throats. I'm lucky I rarly get either normally, but now I'm terrified of trying my new e cig (should be here Monday 510).

I have not really experienced a sore throat like most have, but I have, with PG based liquids, had what I can only describe as a swelling or thickening sensation of my throat. Trachea region right above my sternum. Even makes it hard to breath, wheezing sound. I don't get that at all with the VG based liquid. I smoked PG all day yesterday to experiment. Cuz I really like the RY4 flavor. And every time I start I get the same reaction. It goes away over time, but when I start vaping again after a 10 or 20 minute break, it comes back. Curious if anyone else has had this type of reaction? |

I got headaches initially when I started vaping about 2 years ago for the first week or two. The e-cigarettes also made me cough quite a bit the first couple of days. Now the only side effects are me being able to breathe well, taste food and I don't have to worry about smelling like an ashtray. |

Btw, I have been getting muscle aches. I've been taking ibuprofin and drinking much more water. The water remidied it. However, is it really a negative that I'm drinking my daily recommended ammount of water now? Think about it

I just started a few days ago with RY4 high. I felt a huge throat hit and the burning sensation. With fresh carts it wasn't so bad but that flavor packs a powerful punch. I just bought strawberry and the burn isn't bad at all yet I still get a lot of vapor. Maybe it's just because of certain flavors?

I've noticed that when I vape my voice gets hoarse and cracks like a boy in puberty. I don't get a sore throat, I just talk funny. Has anybody else experienced this and does it go away? I use standard janty carts and liquid which are PG based. ![]() Oops! I forgot to add that I'm experiencing heartburn as well. |
