    Default My experience

Ive been smoking the ecig for about a week. I was never a heavy smoker, 2-3 cigs a day and at least 3 days a week not smoking anything at all. Ive only experienced headaches, strange energy (maybe buzz?) sensations, and dry throat. Acne yes, but I thought this may have been due to a new makeup Ive been using... Ive never run the battery down, and I only hit the ecig 5-10 times an hour, 6 hours a day... Oh yeah, and crazy vivid dreams, but I had that problem since I was a very young child...

Hey all, first day smoking for me. I am using an m401 from puresmoker with a pack of the crappy carts that you can order seperate(medium strength menthol). I seem to have a headache and my eyes feel like they have a little extra pressure behind them. It could be unrelated but figured I'd let you all know. I usually don't smoke on the weekdays so it isn't nicotine withdrawal.

If you usually don't smoke that much than you're body is just adjusting to the level of nicotine in your body. You may even be getting too much nicotine. Try to vape the same amount everyday and then you'll quickly adjust. I had quit analogs for a month but was about to go back to them until I found the e-cig. The first few days of vaping I had to get re-used to nicotine. So you may feel a little off. Everyone is different. You're body will adjust.

I'm new here and i was reading all the comments that people left and I was wondering if anyone didn't have side effects.
I just ordered my DSE901 yesterday and now after reading the comments i'm not sure if this is going to be the right move for me.
I think that it is good that this thread is up here to inform people though. I'm hoping that i won't have any really bad side effects.

    1. Propylene glycol will dry out your throat, so be sure you increase your fluid intake.

    2. Nicotine can cause a sharp contraction, a spasm, of throat muscles. That's the "throat hit" some cherish and I despise. It can be enough to produce a coughing protest from your body.

Drink more and know that you will likely adjust to inhaling vapor over the next week or two.

Hi Variety, the chances of you having a "really bad" side effect are slim to none, and slim just left the building. Unless you consider a dry throat, maybe a headache from adjusting nic levels, a bad side effect you should have no problems. The only side effect that I had were the headaches. That was only when I decided to offically kick the 2 pack a day habit. Like Bob said your body should adjust within a week or two.

Also, my wife has had zero side effects from vaping!

I've been vaping for 3 days - on to my 5th cartridge. Had a bad migraine this weekend and indigestion - but these things may be totally unconnected - I've had both before. Cartridges came with my DES 901 - they are supposed to be 'high' nicotine but I haven't noticed that 'rush' I normally experienced after my 1st cigarette of the day - so quite how strong they are is debatable. I previously smoked 4-6 roll-ups per day, I've definitely vaped more than that because of the accessibility.

Definitely noticed the change in smell of my urine (much like having eaten asparagus).

    No dry throat/ulcers etc.
