My remark about the "second-hand smoke" is this.. They go on and on about how smoking is killing everyone, but they don't see anything wrong with smoke stacks and car exhaust.. My smoking a ciggie is isignificant compared to a smoke stack.. My cats, dogs, hampsters, gerbils, and parents have been exposed to my smoking for 30 years and they have never had lung problems (so far), and even with asthma, my lungs look like a 10 year old's (accoring to scans, x-rays, etc)...
If a person smokes, sure they would be susceptible to lung cancer from smoking, but I do not believe a person sitting next to the person smoking is at 10000000000000000000% higher risk like it is said, yet the smoker is not as badly... I think it is ludacrist for anyone to believe that...
There was no mention until the Clinton administration as far as any of that, until Hilary started with the ban on smoking, because she hated the smell of Bill's cigars (That was in the news constantly during that time)...

Symptoms after the first 2 days
Shaky Hand - Don't know why, although its seemed to have subsided since I switched to 24 nic juice instead of 12.
Diarrhea - Also could be from some bad pizza lol
Depression - Only slightly, I'm usually 90% of the time a happy guy, now it seems like its sitting at around 50%. Not really any reason for it either.
Runny nose - went away after the first 10 hours of vaping
Positive symptoms after the first 2 days
None as of yet, I was a Hookah Smoker, so I had far fewer chemicals in my smoke then analog users so I'm just hoping maybe I'll be able to breath better and function better at work now.![]()
Greatest thing I have found for the Sore Throat is Green Tea w/Honey or Throat Coat Tea w/Honey. Once you feel any Throat discomfort, start drinking and not only do your e-cigg flavors taste better, but your throat will thank you. Seems to happen with PG more then VG Liquids.
I feel a bit yulky and have a sore throat and gums when I use full strength PG.
I mainly use VG and the only reason I use PG is because it's in my flavoring.
Which takes me to flavoring, if I use menthol chrystal I get blisters in my mouth and a tightess in my chest, and sometimes a deep breath hurts.
A few other flavors reaps the same type of reaction, just not as bad.
So it could be the PG and/or flavorings.
am i abnormal?
i almost didn't have any symptoms when i switched to ecigs, except i felt WAYYY better. breathes were deeper and i could taste food.
well ok, at first for the first 3 days or so, i would get a lot of clear phlegm, maybe from the PG or maybe from my lungs clearing out. but thats about it!
anyone esle experience the same thing?
I also coughed out the bloody phlegm exactly one month after stopped smoking analog. My was bed-ridden for 5 days. (flu, sore-throat, fever, asthma - I am asthmatic). First time in life even cough out blood, was scared at first, but after visiting this forum, I was relieved that this was part of the lungs cleansing process.
I have been vaping since Oct 13th - off analogs totally. I smoked 10 years, 1.5 - 2 packs of Ultra-Light 100's a day. I now chain-vape 8mg carts. I thought I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have extreme symptoms of vaping until this past week. I did not have "quitter's cough", constipation, dry throat, or any of the other (now) seemingly serious but short lived symptoms. What I did encounter was panic attack, major depression, fatigue, increased urination, very dry skin, acne, memory loss, cognitive inabilities (lose train of thought or learning curve got REAL BIG).
So, Bogalu, yes I am experiencing or experienced depression and increased agitation. I have read several threads regarding MAOI's (antidepressants) being present in analogs, therefore withdrawals from not only nicotine (lower dosages due to vaping not giving as much nic) AND withdrawals from antidepressants wreaked havoc on me the past couple of months - without my being entirely aware of why or it actually happening - it reached a breaking point last week.
I now know why I have been fatigued and depressed - no antidepressants. Also, why I had a panic attack - less antidepressants to counter the stimulant effect of nicotine.
Just thought I would share my symptoms.
