Don't worry though, just start counting down the months until you are gas free AND cigarette free =)

If anyone gives you trouble just apologize and explain that it is a side effect of your new stop-smoking treatment, they shouldn't mind.

Stay strong and eat tons of baked beans, for some reason they help ease this side-effect. Good luck!
Does anyone know why? It's really bloody annoying, especially if you are a girl

Queen and Faethe, have you cut down significantly in the amount of nicotine you're getting as compared to when you were smoking? Because bloat, constipation and gas are also symptoms of nicotine withdrawal.

I just posted this link in another thread:

WhyQuit - Nicotine Withdrawal and Recovery Symptoms

Here's just the paragraph headings you'll find in the the above cited article, each with fuller explanation in the article:

    Time Perception Distortion
Inability to Concentrate or a Foggy Mind
    Feeling Tired or Fatigued
    Trouble Sleeping or Insomnia
    Chest Tightness
    Slight Sore Throat
    Coughing, Mucus or Nasal Drip
Bad Breath, Nasty Tastes and Bleeding Gums
    Headaches
Stomach Pain, Nausea, Constipation or Gas

    ROTFLMAO!!!!

Thanks, yvilla. Yes, I went from 10-12 analogs per day to vaping only, in like 3 days, so I guess you could say that the amount of nicotine has dropped. However, I quit smoking in June for 4 months and didn't have this problem....hmmmm. I just hope it goes away soon! Maybe I am sucking wrong and ingesting too much air??? I dunno.

    yvilla,

I'm on my sixth day and using super high nic (36 mg) be cause I was a 40+ a day smoker but I seem to have every symptom on your list (no real cravings, though). Maybe I'm not vaping often enough? What do you think?

Note: I've been smoking for 40 years!
