If you truly want to clean your intestines, use Ginger Root and cassia Cinnamon bark pills. Both available as CHEAP supplements in the grocery store. Ginger Root is an anti-inflammatory and you might feel some of your aches and pains go away. Cassia Cinnamon bark (and it has to be the cassia cinnamon) reduces blood sugar. 2 pills each with breakfast and dinner. I'm not sure why they work - but they do. I think clinicaltrials [dot] gov is the place for you to go to verify, at least the cinnamon portion of this. Love this site - where scientist list their test results before the government interprets them. | ||

OH forgot to mention beano has some burly side effects, cramps and explosive out gassing if you will. With that being said I guess its time for me to wander off and go stuff a double bacon grease monster in my face before work. |

I have been using the NCIG for the last 5 weeks and am really enjoying not smoking, but I have found that I am also suffering from a bit of constipation and am always bloated . I do suffer from irritable bowl syndrome and did take some medication a week a go. But now the bloatedness has come back an i am feeling very uncomfortable and irritable . Do I need to stop using the electronic cigarette - or will this go away with time. |

Hello everybody. I'm new and stumbled across this post when googling my concern. I'm actually having opposite side effects. I've been vaping for about 4 days and the first day I felt constipated and gassy, but the last 3 days I've had 3 to 5 "healthy" movements per day! Not that I'm complaining, but that seems kind of odd to me. Does this make sense to anyone? P.S. : Thanks for having me! Kind of an awkward first post. |

hahaha that's a helluva first post indeed but here's my take on the subject in my first 10 posts too..... I too have had plenty of constipation and increase in gas in this first week of switching from analogs to the e-cigs....didn't realize it was a related incident till i read through (and laughed so hard in) this entire thread. I'm just hoping it passes quick, I don't remember if I had these issues in the past when quitting smoking |

As gross as it sounds, I LOVE FARTING! from the fart offs my cousin and I used to have, to letting slip a SBD in a crowded enclosed space that is sooooo bad that it would make a maggot gag. (so long as nothing is attached and no shart action was happeneing.) To me blowing the toot flute is almost as enjoyable as vaping, at least rummbling like a sick buffalo clears the room. If vaping out a sweet cloud has a side effect of releasing a fog horn without having anything attached so be it. Not a side effect but useful comedy gold.

I'm so glad I found this post. Constipation is THE NUMBER ONE issue I am having and have been having for over a month now. For a while, I thought something crazy was going on with me or maybe a reaction to PG or VG, but have since learned otherwise... I poo once every 3 days and smoke once every 3 days... that's because I give myself 2 days to move things along without an analog before succumbing to smoke for its laxative effect... That's right, I cannot poo without a cigarette. I want to say "hey ya i quit smoking..." and join the ranks of you all, but it doesn't seem possible. At any rate, what I've found is that the colon muscular contractions are over excited with not only nicotine, but also with the 4000 + chemicals cigarettes have. The problem is not related to fiber or fluid intake (although both help); rather the body's new inability to move things from colon chamber 1 to colon chamber 2 to colon chamber 3 and out. To make matters worse, the colon naturally absorbs fluid from the waste as it travels through the chambers - the longer it sits, the more water is absorbed; thus making the problem even worse the longer you don't poo... Until finally things are too impacted and dry that no amount of colon muscle strength will help. I had to use glycerin laxatives to help save the day a couple times and THAT is no fun. So my only suggestion, as has been suggested to me, is to slow the intake of food and observe how much goes in vs how much comes out. Its ok to go a day or so without eating (juice diet!) to allow things to catch up and clear out. I found that I can no longer eat large meals.. only small ones and very slowly. And I can't eat cheese anymore. :/ I'm going to ping igetcha and get an update from him now that it has been a while to see if he can provide any suggestions. |

I still want to hear what others have as far as strange vaping symptoms or new idiosyncrasies they've just realized. Learning more every day, and it's been many months. No one should be embarrassed to comment. It all is pretty funny! (Remember this?) Constipation - ishy - ashy - ashun: Now begins, starting with the words... Jack went, to the, bathroom, and couldn't... Many people, have the, symptoms, and do, not know, the cause... Say what is ailing you. Could be that someone else can help? If not, still interesting and funny conversation! |
