Default So, do I have this correct?

Of course, almost all nic juice is made with PG and that breaks down into lactic acid in our bodies, right? VG only juice breaks down into glucose, right? But, dosen't sugar (glucose) break down into lactic acid also? I ask these things along the line with the other panic attack sufferers. Build up or extra lactic acid can and does trigger panic attacks (read a few scientific articles on it-just googled "lactic acid and panic attacks"). I'm really hoping that I'll be able to switch to VG or mainly VG juice and that will help, but I'm scared to death that I will have to give up vaping altogether which would be horrible. Any thoughts or ideas or anything would be appreciated. Thanks

Just found another article that says that lactate is synthesized by the liver to produce glucose. I'm so confused......

And allow me to add to the confusion! I just found another article that says specifically to take glycerin for a panic attack! So maybe by vaping VG e juice, it will actually help me???

I'm not a doctor, and you may want to talk to your doctor if you are concerned, but I can tell you my experiences. I have Fibromyalgia and Panic Attacks and I have found that using a mix that is about 75% PG and 25% VG to 50% PG and 50% VG work very well for me. I don't have the build up of lactic acid problems that I used to have from working out before I realized that lovely burning feeling from a good workout was making me sick. I have less panic problems than I did when I was smoking, though I don't know what part of vaping is making that better. Usually riding in the car is very stressful for me, we live in the country and there are lots of deer and I used to feel like my shoulders were around my ears and all of my muscles were in knots by the time I got home. That doesn't happen so much any more. Like I said, I have no medical proof that it makes any difference, but I know that I feel better physically and emotionally since I started vaping with that mixture.

So far today all I've vaped with is a 50 50 mix like you mentioned. I must say that it seems like I feel better and less stressed. I hope we're both right!

I have not thought about it until I read this thread, but I'm not having the muscle tension and panic attacks like I did before. Wonder if it's something in the analogs that cause it?

I just started vaping 2 days ago.I started feeling panicky from the first puff,I was about to give it up and go back to smokes ,even had someone who was going to by all my gear, but after reading this I think I may try some VG juice first before throwing in the towel.

as a side note I find it amusing that it was on a E-Cig forum that I found out why I used to get sick after a good workout ,where most people feel great. Thanks for all the great info here.

I don't know if it's something in cigs that makes anxiety worse or if there is something in the PG/VG mix that helps it, but either way I feel so much better physically and emotionally. It's a bonus to switching to vaping that I never expected.

I stopped using the e-cig because for some reason the juice just didn't hit me right.... Never had any throat soreness or anthing like that... but even after a few months of vaping my state of mind was either foggy or panicky ALL the time.

Just didn't feel right... Now I snus full time and feel great... Good luck with it though. I feel your pain.

I had some 24 mg that first I cut in half, but that wasn't enough nic for me, so I started just cutting it down to 18 and even just that little bit has still helped. I think it's a combination of less lactic acid from the pg and more glucose from the vg to help. My husband had me make up a special 3ml bottle of straight flavored vg "in case of emergency" to see if it really did help the attacks like the site I found said. So far, knock on wood, I haven't had to try it. I'm feeling much better and still vaping as much. Thanks for all the answers and support! You guys are great!
