I never seen this mentioned on the health thread before, But a doctor told me that the dangers might not be really from the liquid but the battery itself. I have heard a few people talk about their concerns about inhaling thought a battery piece. Something about the electrons or radiation from the battery you are inhaling when you puff on an E-cig. And they say its not healthy. Does anyone think there is something to this, or just paranoia. I always kind of didnt like the fact that i am sucking through a battery. Anyone have any thoughts on this topic?

Do you use a manual or automatic battery? manual batteries have no air flow. And I think the air from automatic batteries actually comes from the side holes, not through the battery?

I guess there is some suction on the battery which turns the automatic batteries on. and i guess they are saying the sucking on the heating element and battery energy or something is not good for u. I dont know if there is any validity to it.

Sounds like a distortion of electromagnetic radiation. In this day and age, good luck avoiding that. Maybe some truth there but not enough that I would be concerned. Nestran |

For pity's sake, don't even start going down that road. There is not enough electromagnetic radiation being emitted from a battery to harm you over any amount of time, I would imagine if you were using a battery the size of a house you might have some concerns, but not at this level, that's really reaching for straws to me.

yeah honestly, i am not writing this as like my opinion. Its just something I have heard a few times in regards to e-cigarettes, and now a doctor said something about the battery. Thats why I posted it here. When my friend told me about his concerns i just ignored it. Im not sure what it is exactly about the battery, but they were warning me that inhaling whatever the battery produces can be harmful.

Who really knows what is true. I think people really lose site that no matter which group, pro or con, Neither probably has our best interests in mind. One wants to sell and make a profit, and the other side does not want to lose profit.

In all seriousness, you need to get a doctor that doesn't quack.
