I've had asthma all my life. I used to smoke a little less than 1/2 pack per day. It took a little getting used to the vapor, but since switching, I've definitely noticed that my asthma has improved - esp at night.
    Hope that helps

I don't have personal experience... but my younger sister has bad asthma.. being within 10ft of an analog makes it near to impossible for her to breathe. She was a good sport and let me blow vapor in her face to test this very question months ago when someone else posted a similar question. The results? She says the vapor is cold on her face, no lung/throat/asthmatic reaction what so ever. I had a bottle of 0nic juice I had ordered for a friend, she puffed away on a 510 at 0nic for a good 2-3 hours til she got bored with it. Not even the slightest asthmatic reaction. Every since then she has been spreading the word to everyone that will listen about how much better they are.

Her logic? 1 makes her feel like she's going to die just from being near it, the other she can smoke directly with no reaction.. there is no doubt in her mind... too bad the FDA won't accept THAT as a clinical trial lol

Yep, wheezy old bugger here, had it for as long as I can remember, sucking down ventolin & a couple of "preventor" inhalers a day.

Vaping hasn't had any negative affects on my asthma at all, I'd go as far to say that I use less Ventolin whilst vaping.

    Default Asthma and Ecigs

My asthma has completely dissappeared since I quit smoking. No more sinus infections, wheezing, or breathing problems. I was borderline COPD, now all gone.

When I was a teenager my doctor suggested I probably had "non-wheezing asthma" causing some lung constriction. After I'd been smoking for a while, I definitely noticed a slight, but measurable decrease in my lung capacity.
After switching to vaping pg, my lungs are clearing, my sense of taste and smell are returning- I'm happy.
My sister, who has barely controlled asthma and a 6 month old baby, seems very happy as well (they're the reason I decided it was time to drop analogs). I vape around her all the time, and though I don't blow it in her face, she's not expressed the slightest complaint (whereas proximity to a burning analog is enough to send her into an attack).

    e-cigs are a godsend.

I definitely notice a difference. Have athesma and smoked > a pack a day for about 12 years... Even just after a day of vaping and no analogs I notice a difference. I havent needed my inhaler once whereas I would have needed it several times by now if I was still on the analogs!

Its great! I love it! I still get to "smoke" with none of the ill-side-effects!

I just need to switch to vaping only on my other smoke of choice

    Default Asthma

I was diagnosed w/mild asthma in my twenties. Dr. said if I quit smoking, it would likely go away. I am now 42, and just started vaping in August of this year. I don't have any problems when vaping straight pg e-juice. Thinking I could save some money I tried to mix my own e-juice (according to the e-calculator) by diluting 48 mg w/veg. glycerin. This turned out to be a nightmare. I was smothering, coughing and could not get a deep breath. It's like the veg. glycerin was building up in my lungs, and I could not cough it up. Had to use inhaler in the middle of night, every night. I am sharing this with you because it took me about three weeks to figure out what was causing my asthma to flare. I am very happy to say that 'I AM ABLE TO VAPE'. I absolutely don't try to DYI my own e-juice anymore. I am just thankful, after all I have invested, that I am able to vape.

As a side note, I use a Prodigy VI. I think maybe the heat generated from this mod may do something to the vg, like overheat it. I don't know, but I do know that I cannot vape VG.

Nicotine is not the only alkaloid that is soluble in glycerin! I've gotten impressive results.
