Dry Lips?
Is anyone else getting really dry lips from vaping? I've been vaping for about 3 weeks now and I thought it would go away after a while... but it's not.
Chapstick is my new best friend...

Dry Lips after vaping
I have been vaping only for about 3 days now but ran into a very similar issue with dry mouth/throat etc. From the best i can tell its an effect caused by the propylene glycol that most eliquids use as a base.. but i could be wrong as im still new. I mostly resolved this issue by cutting my eliquid 50/50 with vegetable glycerin. If you chose to try this please refer to the threads that pertain to mixing eliquids, and pay very close attention to the disclaimer at the beginning because handling nicotine can be very hazardous. you can also try some vegetable Glycerin based liquids. I only know of johnsons creek (sp) that has this type of liquid since im so new at this.
PS. and upping water intake cant hurt either

I did a lot at first, but no more. One day it just stopped happening.

i always have dry lips, but i don't know if its from vaping or from spending alot of time outside.

I've been vaping for about four months now, with no dry lips.
But I just came back from a vacation to Sequoia National Park and I got dry lips there.
I'm guessing it had to do with 7000 foot elevations and no humidity.
I was using a lot of Chapstick during the last few days and it sucked.
I kept getting Chapstick gunk on my 510 mouthpiece.
I hate it when that happens.

Had dry lips for the first month or a little less. I don't know why, but it went away. No more dry lips.

I have had the same problem. No biggie - just keep the lip balm handy. And thanks for posting. Glad to see it is not just me.

I have been vaping for four months and still have the dry lips problem. Guess I really don't drink enough, but keep lots of lip balm on hand

I keep soft lips on hand at all times, also try drinking a lot of tea or eating water based soups if drinking water is hard for you
