Lashes, I think I can help you with the burning taste buds thing - I had it in the beginning too. This is what I found it to be related to.
When you vape, notice the position of your tongue. I used to wind up with the tip of it near the mouthpiece (in the way of the vapor path). Once I was conscience of that, I made it a point of making sure to move my tongue out of the way when vaping. When it didn't happen anymore, I attributed it to something like wind burn. Haven't had a problem with it since and it didn't take long to have the different tongue position become an automatic thing vs. a thought process of "Oh, my tongue is in the way and I need to move it."

How about this: let's start a thread called "Vaping Causes Uterine Cancer?" You never know unless you ask the knowledgeable community of vapers, right?

    Yeh, really ...
If you start vaping with your uterus, please make sure to upload a video to Youtube and post the link, thanks.

When a kid asks if Chevy Chase, Maryland was named after the actor you have a good laugh and then answer their question. You don't criticize them and ignore their question. When someone asks a question you consider "stupid", you answer them. If you can't, maybe it's not such a stupid question.

No one should laugh at anyone's question- ever. Lord knows, I've asked a ton of really stupid ones. It's the provocative nature of the thread title that concerns me. We all know there are trolls in here that will take advantage of anything we say here, twisting it to suit their needs.

Lashes, there is nothing wrong with asking a question. But we all need to be careful that we pose these in a way that doesn't makes it easy for one of the nut cases to twist it and use it against 'the cause'.

I can just see them taking a screen shot of the title and posting it wherever they can, question mark or no.

    Or maybe I'm just paranoid?

About your question -somebody mentioned the PG/VG thing, and I wanted to chime in and mention that I have had issues w/PG that have been similar to yours. It was like the whole inside of my mouth was burned and it felt like I had tiny sores on the tip of my tongue.

I assumed that it was a PG allergy, but after vaping VG for awhile, I'm trying PG again, and it seems much better.

So maybe just back away from the PG awhile and try again?

I also have learned that some vendors liquids are harsher than others. I have one vendor's PG liquid that I'm using now and I'm not having a bit of problem. If you would like to know who it came from, PM me and I'll be happy to tell you.

So, back to that Chevy Chase thing - was the which came first - the town or the actor.

Is anyone else glad to see Chevy Chase on TV? - the actor, not the town.

Actually, I used to get this, too-- and it went away when I switched to all-VG liquids. Turns out I have enough of a PG sensitivity that even the reduced-PG formulas I was using would cause minor issues like that. (Using all-PG liquids caused far more dramatic problems.) It DEFINITELY wasn't because of temperature, this much I know-- my vapour feels barely warmer than taking a mouthful of air.

Not sure if I understand the whole snus argument, tho.

Oral use of Swedish moist snuff (snus) and risk for cancer of the mouth, lung, and pancreas in male construction workers: a retrospective cohort study|Oral Cancer News

"To distinguish possible effects of snus from those of smoking, we focused on 125 576 workers who were reported to be never-smokers at entry. Adjusted relative risks were derived from Cox proportional hazards regression models. Findings:
60 cases of oral, 154 of lung, and 83 of pancreatic cancer were recorded in never-smokers. Snus use was independently associated with increased risk of pancreatic cancer"

    "Interpretation:
Use of Swedish snus should be added to the list of tentative risk factors for pancreatic cancer. We were unable to confirm any excess of oral or lung cancer in snus users."

Default Got to be better than analogs

I'm not sure weather vaping can cause cancer or not but I am sure that analogs can cause cancer and we still smoke. One of the things I really love about vaping is I can smoke in the house and my wife who has astma is fine with it. Other things that are great, no butts, no ashes, no odor. I really think that even though vaping is better for us and those around us the GD gubberment will ban it and the reason, MONEY!!!!, the tobacco industry will lobby like crazy to get this off the market also the politicians will be out to shut this down because we smokers are being taxed to death and they haven't found a way to stick their greedy hands into this.

    Holy ****ING Crap!

Im SORRY I forgot to put "CAN" in the title! I didnt know it was going to be such a big freakin deal.

lets everyone freak out that your e-cigs are going to be banned now because I mis-worded a question on a stupid internet forum. God sometimes you guys are a little overboard.

Everyone just relax. The facts are the facts. Even if they try to ban these things. It will be on absolutely no factual legitimacy and the ruling would be overturned soon after the uprising and burning buildings that would result from you guys

Also, I'm not complaining about "burning" and I dont have any "sores" I said there was a a slight discolor on my lip and I wasnt ever concerned about it. I place the PV further in my mouth, dont have the problem anymore - And I like 'bouncing' the vapor off my tongue because I like the way it tingles afterwords, it's more satisfying to me for some reason.

LOL sorry I'm just having a bad day. sheesh!
