I am feeling much better. Cut my 24mg juice with VG I bought from walmart. 12 drops VG
    8 drops E juice
2-3 water ( distilled at home)
estimate at about 9- 11 mg ( just a guess. gonna figure the math later)

This is a much closer nic level for me.

Still a lil high - dumbness is still there but it's very minute and lazyness
Body Aches - OMG am I sore. Like catching the flu sore.
Dry skin - Getting better since I diluted the PG with VG
Lost interest in analogs - still a lil craving and I know they get worse before it gets better. Went from 25/day to 2 1/4. Not gonna beat myself up over that
Slight return in smell - GF is gona have to take that nasty thing outside
Inoming sickness - here comes the detox. I feel my body preping for it. Now I just got to ride the lightning.

No sympathy for the devil.... buy the ticket, take the ride

After reading some more about PG in skincare products, I have decided that PG may also be contributing to the skin issues I have on my face and eye irritation I deal with in general. My skin is pretty normal elsewhere, but very red on my face, irritated-like. I only use expensiv-ish products for sensitive skin on my face, and guess what? It all lists PG as a top ingredient. Ironically, I use whatever cheapo products on the rest of my body and only my face has issues. I can't believe that in 20 years of dealing with this, I never looked into this possibility.

I realize this has moved somewhat off-topic, but I wonder if anyone else who has problems vaping PG has skin issues with PG as well. Also wondered if anyone has reccommendations for a good PG free skincare line?
wow Jennydotz I hope you really have found the cause of those symptoms. It sure does bring up an important question as to just how many folks might have a sensitivity to PG.

I started vaping almost a month ago with 36 mg Riskee Yuice and exceot for one headache when I overdid it on the 2nd day, I haven't had any issues at all. I ws expecting the muscle soreness and throat irritation that so many people mention but never had any at all.

Clearly there is a broad range of reactions in people to vaping. It's very interesting that a switch to VG seems to eliminate those issues for you. Important topic.

Ok I am right here with the couple of you guys that talked about the tiredness...

I first started e-smoking with a starter kit 510, and for that whole week, I noticed extreme fatigue, in fact I went to the doctor to get checked out for cancer and other illnesses.

After the starter carts ran out, and a few days passed, I started returning to my normal self. I did not yet connect this with the e-cig yet for whatever reason.

Got juices from eastmall just yesterday, and the fatigue, the slowness of the mind, the whole just came back. Now I have all this juice, and I love to e-smoke, but I know if I do I'll feel like crap.

BTW it has nothing to do with nicotine withdrawal. I've quit plenty of times and have lasted for years without cigarettes. As for overdose, I know it's not that either, it's 8mg, and I notice the fatigue taking a hold on after a few drags.

It has to be another chemical in there.
I read somewhere on this forum that an ingredient in anxiety medicine was also found in e-juice. This could very well be it.

Wow, is this an old thread or what! A lot of people from the past who arn't here anymore. Brings back memories of 6 months ago.
Nickmcdoz, I don't know what about these could be causing you to get tired unless your having an allergic reaction but I would like you to find and show me where you read on this forum that there are anxiety medication ingredients found in e-juice. I've never read or heard that and I don't believe it.

I had the same problem. I felt like vaping made me very tired for the first month.

I get the same symptoms at times. It seems only to occur when I use a lot of Lorann's caramel flavoring.

Vaping with the flavoring makes me feel feel the same as though I had taken a lot of cough syrup. I feel disconnected from my environment. My body starts to feel numb, and I get a very slight occasional ache in my legs. Further I get twitches in my left eye. This of course leads to a bit of anxiety, which I don't think is a result of the flavoring but of the experience I am having.

In my case I say it is the flavoring, as I have found that straight liquid (TW unflavored) at 18mg is fine, as well as straight liquid mixed heavily with VG is fine. The only time I experience it is when I have added around a half a ml of caramel flavoring or more to a 5ml bottle.

    Hope this helps.

There are various risks associated with DIY (read the disclaimer at the top of the DIY section of this forum). This is why I never recommend it.

Find a good tasting liquid in the nic level you vape and enjoy.

Hmm, very good advice, thanks. I'll try the flavorless, maybe add a drop of these EastMall juices to it just to have a little something. I really hope its just the flavor making me tired.

So to answer your questions, yes I bought the juice from eastmall, and I'm not sure where I read one of the ingredients is in anxiety medicine but I swear I read it somewhere on here. But if anything vaping gives me anxiety along with fatigue.

I quit vaping and I'm feeling a lot sharper, not 100% myself yet (i'm normally a genius of sorts) but I think whatever it is causing the negative side effects is metabolizing (or maybe i'm getting used to my new lower IQ??).

I feel bad because this is fuel for the fire as far as the FDA goes, and I know that e-juice could be perfected to be healthy and tastey and proven, if only someone put the $$$ into it, but that will never happen if its outright banned.

So I'll give the flavorless a go, and I'll tell you if it makes me feel horrible too.

PS Why can't I start a topic and a guy with 4 posts can? I'm begining to form all sorts of conspiracies .

Question this is all very interesting...

I was so excited to recieve my 510 on friday. I just KNEW this was my ticket to "analogue" freedom! Well my excitement has turned to confusion....and HEADACHE. I've been searching all over for the last day to try to get some answer as to why I am getting headaches after vaping...even after just a puff or two.

Its not a terrible headache, just some pressure in my temple area and a little tightness in my neck/ears. Kinda feels a little like a "hangover" or lack of sleep. Slight displaced feeling...but I can function okay. Basically unpleasant enough for me to give up on vaping unless I can sort this out.
I'm using stock carts and pyramid tea bags as cart filler. Adding my own 18mg juice purchased from "wet your stick".

I have been smoking ultra lights for years now...may be 1/2 pk/day. I haven't quick smoking analogues so Its not withdrawl. I don't think its Nicotine O.D... as it only takes a slight bit to trigger the strange feeling.

I plan to order some VG juice this evening and pray that does the trick.
    any other ideas??
