I've only been vaping for six days, however, my tastebuds have made somewhat of a come back and food tastes wonderful! My husband has noticed my apetite has increased in the last few days and commented on it . I'm not sure if I've put on any weight. I don't usually track my weight, but after reading this thread, I think I may keep track of it.

Yep! Lost some wait! Stopped eating cake every night or getting Frappacinos from Starbucks thus saving me even MORE money - all effortless. All this and no analogues for 2 months now. I put a lot of stock in "too good to be true" and am anxious that something is going to take vaping away from me. Either the FDA, a medical finding showing that vaping also can be cancerous or whatever. All I can say is, vaping has changed my life for the better in so many ways, even after 2 months it excites me.
This is by far one of the best things that has happened for me in terms of health and well being.
And I have to thank this very forum for that! Pretty powerful that this forum changes and saves lives. Thank you!

I gained 25 lbs. since I quit smoking. however, it happened also while smoking analogs in the past many times (some people think I am a horizontal rubber band). I suspect it is a lot easier loosing weight with analogs; I think it has to do with the fact that one is poisoning him/herself with consequent loss of appetite, not just the use of nicotine per se and the fact that food does not taste as good.
I am almost in the right mindset to put myself on a diet again. Soon I will see how difficult it is to loose weight now that everything tastes so good.

I do find myself eating less, the weight has held steady but its only been 2 weeks. I did notice I am not retaining as much water, which is great!
The most obvious sign this is doing something good for me is that the urge to kill has subsided when I am in traffic or dealing with people, or the DMV, or other vexing and insolent entities.

I'm just about a month in now, and although I've said (earlier on in the thread) that I feel I'm eating a lot less, my weight hasn't altered one way or the other...but my weight has always been generally stable, so no surprises there (I wouldn't have complained if I'd lost a few pounds...but there is always that thing called "exercise" I suppose).

So my cravings for sweet snacks are largely gone, and I eat far less in the evenings, which for me has a big effect on my weight.

    Yeah, total bonus!
I have a big sweet tooth! So hearing this is a pleasure! The only down side to me eating sweets is, upset stomach (if eaten too much), and weight gain. This makes me excited.

I too am noticing a decrease in hunger.

For me, I think the decrease in appetite is that I can vape a lot more often than I could smoke an analog, therefore I don't try to fill that "void" as often when I couldn't smoke with food.

I lost at first while on PG but had a bit of an allergic reaction to it. Switched to VG and gained.
After that it seemed I was hungry a lot. I'm a muncher anyway so the combo wasn't good. Anyway, the constant hunger is subsiding---body adjusting I guess.
I walk the dog twice a day and three days a week, I visit a local pool and go through a class and 1/2 of exercise to keep in some kind of shape.
For the munchies, I keep cabbage and raisins around, but really need a fix for the sugar tooth----love circus peanuts, cherry tootsie roll pops, and York's peppermint patties.
I've tried to find a flavors close to vape but haven't yet. Any suggestions?

Well, this thread gives me hope! My biggest fear about giving up analogs is weight gain. I'm already having issues loosing an extra 10 lbs, and adding to it would put me over the edge lol! Guess I'm going to have to stock up on sweeter flavors...
