    Default Poll on coughing.

I find it interesting that some people who quit smoking tobacco cigarettes and start vaping fall into two groups. Those who do experience a productive cough for between one and several months after quitting tobacco, coughing up the crud from their lungs known as "lung cookies" and those people who quit smoking and started vaping who have no cough and produce no crud or lung cookies whatsoever.
Some people still smoke and vape so there is a poll option for that.

Same here, but I'd feel better if I'd coughed up a swamp to be honest....

Me too. I think my lungs would clear up a lot quicker if I coughed up 'something'.

I didn't start coughing until I had been vaping about a month. Coughed up a lot of stuff for a couple of weeks and then it stopped.

Could it be possible that the PG vapour is hardening the tar/gunk deposits in the lungs by drying the moisture content out?

LOL, I hope not! I think you would have to be massively dehydrated for your lungs to dry up though.

I'm hoping that when the cilia start growing back, they will start to encourage the lungs to eject any gunk.

I've only been vaping a few weeks and I still smoke a few analogs a day. So far no exodus of lung cookies from me. I'm sure it's in there and I'd sure like to be rid of it. Though the process doesn't sound overly appealing.

Been vaping a week and only cough due to dryness or minor phlegm, clear, build-up in throat.
