Week In And Hospitalized
I am not saying that vaping is to blame, but my roomate and I just started vaping. Within a week, we were both hospitalized. Vomiting, crapping, and dehydration. I was the worst! I was so dehydrated that I almost went into kidney failure at the age of 26. Wow... I got this bug 3 days after my roomate.
I have read threads about acid build up ect... I noticed more stomach acid and especially when I got sick. Also PG being a germ deterant, could that have killed natural germs in my body to fight infection?
The test results came back negative.
Or could this all be coincidence? Stomach flu, food poisoning?
It just got me thinking. My 3 day stay in the hospital really was disturbing.

Did you and your roomate eat at Jack in The Box?

You said at a "week in" you were hospitalized... but your posts and sig banner say you've been vaping for 3 weeks. So I guess I'm confused.
I could maybe see maybe developing some minor reaction over a week, but after 3 weeks of vaping with no problems? Seems unlikely that it's related- unless it's a bug that you and your roommate were passing to each other from sharing equipment.
Rather dramatic title though. :P

I'm not a doctor by no means but I am an EMT. And what you're describing sounds like a stomach bug or possibly food poisoning. If vaping were to affect you I would imagine it would affect your respiratory system. So I would highly doubt it's related.

Well, in his defense, he might have very well gone cold turkey for two weeks until his gear arrived.

Good point. Guess I just took the banner literally, thinking he got it when he got the kit.
I certainly wasn't implying anything, just saying that a reaction that severe seems like it would happen fairly fast. Does sound like a bug though, not some allergy or anything. But honestly, I've no medical background so my 2¢ is worth exactly that.
Hope the OP is on the mend

The chances of two people, room mates, having the same adverse reaction to vaping is rather slim.
Two people eating together and getting a bug is more likely.
Two people in this age group living together the flu is more likely,
Unless they got tainted juice, but we would be hearing more on the board about it. This a rather small community after all.
I'm not a doctor either but logic does not point to vaping.

Not from vaping. Two of you got the same thing is was a contagious thing.
Hope you feel better soon.
