Bad Breath?
One of the appealing things about quitting analogs and starting vaping instead is the lack of smell. I hated the way I smelled and my breath smelled when I smoked cigarrettes.
But I've noticed that although my breath doesn't smell like smoke or anything, the vapor dries your mouth out like crazy and gives you a general bad breath. Have to drink some liquids or use gum to keel from turning people off.
Anybody else experiencing this or am I just lucky?
Current Hardware: GoCarts, 510 reg & LR Cartomizers
Power Sources: GoGo, Prodigy V2, Janty eGo Mega, PS USB Pass Thru

I would have a bad breath if my mouth is dry no matter what was the cause.
I am following a low carb diet for around 9 years now and developed a habit to drink a lot of plain water, around a gallon a day. Each time I fill that my mouth is dry it would mean a bad breath also.
For me - I have to vape and drink, there is no other way.

Definitely man this stuff dries me the hell up and I always had some sort of dehydration problem so I always drink a lot of juice and stuff but I think I drink twice the amount while vaping but whatever... I guess it just something we have to deal with as there is never anything good without something you have to pay for it. Also I remember watching this Vid of a dude on this forum that makes DIY liquid and he had this HUGE Jug of Water and he said the same thing on the video, that the e-cigs make him really thirsty so he had that there...
Yea, it is definitely normal, unless you are somehow immune to it.. I guess we will see when we got some more posts.
Happy Vaping!!!!

i guess years of anti-depressants and SSRIs have made me immune??? i actually drink less since i started vaping... still getting used to being analog free though.

Dry mouth leads to bad breath... Whether it's from e-cigs or ............. I'm carry a 32oz nalgene bottle with me everywhere I go, even if I'm just running to the store. I like to have water with me, so my mouth is never all that dry. If your breath stinks try chewing some gum, that should help.

I drink lots, brush teeth often and I bought cinnamon/licorice/clove and mint flavored tooth picks as well as gum for when not vaping... lol

lmao ... i noticed this too, but my conclusion is... i had the bad breathe before, when i was smoking analogs.... 1. it was covered up by "smoke breath" 2. i couldnt smell it then because the analogs killed my sence of smell.
i just brush teeth even more now and chew gum

I'm as addicted to Diet Coke as I am to Vaping. I am never without a soda and I usually have a bottle of water sitting right next to it. Consequently, I am in the bathroom once an hour ... They make fun of me at work.

I think I might be having the opposite reaction. After I've been vaping my wife can tell which flavor I've been using by kissing me and she seems to like the effect. This probably has something to do with the fact that I don't get dry mouth from vaping anymore. I had real problems during my first week, but now I don't notice any drying.

Diet coke! =D
Seriously though, there must be something about diet soda that freshens up your breath. Ever since I started drinking it, my breath was never bad as long as I had some on me.
But yeah, I do get some bad breath with the vape. It's no where near as bad as when I was smoking, and it's quickly fixed with some water or anything. But hey, whiter teeth compared to smoking is a HUGE plus.
