My wife hasn't said anything about my snoring - she seems a bit upset about the whole vaping thing - it actually takes more time then old fashoined smoking, and I'm not even talikng about lying around on the forums all night.

Give it some time, and you'll spot me doing something way more embarrassing. I have a bad habit of staying up all night, and typing under the influence (TUI). Luckily, you can't get arrested for that.
By the way, those other posts that helped set you off were probably from the same guy under a different name (just my opinion).
quasimod, what happend to the offending posts - were they removed from the thread?

The only side effect I've noticed is being totally awesome.

I haven't smoked a ciggie for almost two days now
I think the e-cig makes quitting "piece of cake".. yes cake, it's just as sweet as that!

This thread is pretty deep, but I'll chime in.
My 2 granddaughters, along with my daughter came up last month with them all sick. My wife got sick and it lasted for about 2 weeks. I felt a little something for a day and it went away and that was it for me. I attributed it to the PG, due to the old Times article that was linked to somewhere around here.
I have now changed over to VG, due to the PG drying me out, cotton mouth, dry sinus. I don't like going to bed like that. It makes me breath through my mouth while sleeping, which makes it even worse.
I may have to try to use PG during the day and VG in the evening?
Anyway, my 2c.

Thought I'd chime in too. Lots of thougths on this thread..... my contribution: I have asthma. I had begun suffering from a LOT of wheezing on a daily basis. THIS was a big part of why I really felt I needed to quit the analogs. After 1 week without analogs... NO WHEEEZING and (ick alert) that
"morning phlegm " is much thinner and less profuse. Also, I seem to have stopped my horrible snoring. The hubby reports no snoring heard in over a week and I no longer wake up with my tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth!!!!

50+ years smoking - 69 days smoke free:
Coughing: Gone
Wheezing: Gone
Colds and Flu: None (just a few incidents of sniffles that were gone within hours, (probably analog lung slush exiting my system).
Animal like, stinky personal odor: Gone
Facial skin: smooth and clear.
Handsomeness: Much more handsome!
Non smoking wife: Off my case!
UNBELIEVABLE!
Best evidence of vaping’s effectiveness: When my 7 yr old granddaughter visits now, she freely hugs me and kisses me on the cheek. She used to do that, only if she felt it was absolutely necessary, like for a treat or a gift.

Side effect that I have ran into, which I've heard others say, is very dry lips! I wasn't putting on chapstick for the first week like people were saying, which was my bad. Lips got so dry that I got a couple of tiny blisters on my lower lip but they weren't visible (thank gawd) and that's about it.
Other than that the positives so out weigh this lil dry lip problem which is now under control.
