I am by NO means any kind of expert on this, having just begun vaping myself, and about the same time as you.
My side affects are high blood pressure and axiety, some depression, but I have been reading this forum all day. I think you are suffering withdrawal from the anti depressants in analogs. The MAOI impact.
Vaping more might help, I don't pretend to know, but if I felt that bad and your wife is expecting a big special day, hell, I'd sneak out and smoke an analog. What's one more?

I managed to get trough the day without an analogue - mostly because its Xmas day with the fam, and I did not go into the shops today, otherwise I might have succumbed. The wife gave me a tonic concoction and Cal-C-Vita - it seems to have helped.
But thanks for the reminder about the depression - thats probably why I just want to sleep. (and never wake up?)
OK - I'm exaggerating, lets hope tomorrow is better - I'll go to the shops, buy some lights and install, wash the outside walls to clean the "finger paintings" from today. And if that does not help, I'll start working on the conceptual engineering proposal due on the 06 Jan 2010.. (Sigh)

MAOI impact?
There are many people and links on this forum with more information and with far more expertise than I have. However, I was pleased and astounded at the amount of info available. I thought I was the only one to suffer this.
Do a google on "MAOI and depression" plus other combinations of "MAOI" to find several 'quit smoking' articles.
In lay terms, MAOI [monoamine oxidase inhibitor] is an anti-depressant and one of many similar chemicals in processed tobacco analogs.
It get's very complicated and medical, but essentially you [and me] have been hooked on anti depressants for years without even knowing it.
It involves Dopamines which trigger pleasure in the brain. The 'reward signal' for smoking analogs, and which makes it so hard to quit.
I crave details and have printed about 75 pages on the topic. Many "experts" have finally agreed that the patch and nic gum are almost useless. If nicotine was the addictive drug, then patches, gum, etc would work. Many are just beginning to realize that our horrible analog withdrawal [depression, anxiety, exhausted, panic attacks, etc] is NOT due to sudden lack of nicotine but the withdrawal from the chemical anti depressants, ie, MAOI's.
The good news is the body seems to 're-balance' in about two weeks or so after quitting. Most think they have kicked the nicotine habit. No, they have kicked the anti depressant addiction.
Others will chime in with more knowledge, but this is how I read it.

Nou toe nou ...MAOI, I think u actually have a lot more "experience" than you give yourself credit for.
This info goes in "Did you know .. No, I did not" file. It explains a lot - maybe thats what Zyban tried to replace as well - but it did not work for me at all - there is still the psycological aspect as well - the e-cigs are very good at filling the gap left by the sudden discontinued "smokebreaks".
So its the 3rd day of 2010 now. No-one is encouraging me anymore, but rather started frowning at all the small bottles of "stuff" and chargers accumulating in my study...
So its just me against the analogues.
My 18 months old boy was sucking on the LED of a charging batt today, Lessons:
1. E-cigs are safer then analogues.
2. Be very careful of what rolemodel u portray.
I am still OK - got through the New Celebrations and "Bubbly" by sucking on my M201 and chewing mentos fruit. I was suffering severe heartburn during he week and poor apetite around Xmas. But things seem to have balanced a bit now.
Monday is back to work and news break time to my smoke buddies. Hope the work stress won't break me back to analogues. There is only a smoking policy wrt tobacco @work - I guess I will have to enquire about (promote?) e-cig smoking.

I'm also having one of my bi-annual cold, which always leads to sinus infections, wheezing-crackling lungs, bronchitis, etc.
I think I'm getting over the cold. My sinuses are iffy - one's great, one is not. But the one that's not is just clogged, not burning, itchy and drippy.
My lungs are much clearer than they'd normally be at this stage of the game.
I'd been breaking into the no-name juice I got from Light in the Box, when I started to get sick. I've put those juices to the side, cleaned the atomizers and poly-fil and started vaping pure Dekang juice. (Oxymoron alert.) Stopped coughing on every inhale and in general, just feel better.
I hate dumping 65ml of juice, but I didn't start getting sick until I started using this stuff and I didn't start getting better until I stopped.
