We keep the liquid in 20ml and 30ml bottles so the question is really ' how toxic is that quantity of liquid and what permanent damage could it do to someone if accidently consumed?'. No-one has answered that question fully bearing in mind the quantities that we generally keep at home.
I have no problem with the vailidy of the original question. It's just that this

There were moments I contemplated suicide by drinking the liquid, but I believe there are much nicer ways. Nicotine is nasty. Now I think dying from old age might be much better

which is why i think all bottles should have the toxic warning and why I also think that when the govt starts regulating this, the first thing they will do is to restrict the max mg and the max size of bottle (thus keeping the bottles below a toxic level). Hopefully that doesnt happen, because it'll mean max doses of something like 4mg and max size 5ml (if not even less in order to make it toddler-safe). But, I fear that it will

To be honest, I reckon we'd be stuck with cartridges if regulated.

A more real danger is that a child might consume some. This stuff smells pretty darn good. Various flavors smell so good you almost want to eat them. And that's the problem.

If you have a syringe, take a look at the ml measurements. One ml is a very tiny amount. You could easily squirt it into a thimble. In fact, half a thimble full of TW 36mg liquid could easily kill a child if swallowed. We know children love to play "pretend" and the coloring and consistency of the liquid look like they'd be about perfect for a "tea party."

I've had this fear since realizing how little is needed to constitute a fatal dose for a child or pet.

Worst, for most liquids, there is no warning label. Bravo to JC and TW for listing ingredients -- and TW for putting a "poison" emblem on it. If you're with the county EMT unit, and you arrive on the scene where a child has ingested something possibly poisonous, your first question is "what was ingested?" For most vials, you won't know -- and treatment could be delayed with fatal consequences.

These are not idle concerns. And you can bet every government will require serious warnings and childproof caps if our liquids ever take step one in any approval process.

What little I have got in my mouth as tasted nasty. Even chidlren spit out nasty tasting stuff. Just try to get them to take some medicine that tastes bad. You will be wearing it. But I would not like to depend on that either , best be safe than sorry.

I`m also paranoid about this, to the point of almost OCD. I wash my hands thoroughly before handling our guinea pigs if I`ve been vaping, especially as I drip. They will lick anything close to hand.
Even exhaling vapour, I`ve seen what it does to my monitor when sat at my pc, I get this sort of congealed glue like substance, spotting....nothing major but it`s there.

Even if they spit it out, the stuff is so concentrated that they'll still be in trouble!

Soup!! I did'nt think of that. Thank's malyden.

Seriously though. I now realise that i have enough Liquid in my Fridge to kill about 20 Adults. I hav'nt replied to anyone yet because i just thought i would ask the Question and let people think for themselves about the consequences of someone who did'nt know it was poison drinking it.
The only bottle's that have a Skull & Crossbones on them is the Wicked.
I live alone so i don't really worry about it but i do sometimes have visitors who bring their children and the kid's always want a drink of something and believe me, kid's get everywhere fast when your not watching.

@ Frankie.. If i want to kill myself i don't have to take any poison or pills.
I just need to Stop taking the pills i'm prescribed.

This forum is amazing! I did not even comprehend that the amount of liquid in those little bottle could kill! This was an eye opening thread! Thanks to all!

Oh, don't get me wrong. I do realize that it is poisonous, but I just did not think about the lethal dose. It really made me sit back and say wow...
