I find your attitude over the line especially since people have come to defend your right to bring your concerns to the forum.

I agree with him actually and I am not young, in fact I had more allergies and health problems from childhood than most- Allergic reactions to an inhaled VAPOR don't cause heartburn they just don't.

Other reactions do occur, I have a problem with dekang cinnamon flavor- makes my throat itch- pretty classic allergic response.

If you have serious concerns stop vaping.
If you have minor concerns and want to compare notes with others super, please do so- but don't start screaming "alarm, alarm, alarm" like chicken little.
Screaming would have been in CAPITALS, so shall we keep the exaggerations to a minimum?

Really, so you know how my allergies affect me? I've had some very weird allergic reactions, like hives on my left leg from an antibiotic eye drop (stopped use for 24 hours with no new hives developed, fresh new hives within 10 minutes of subsequent dose, so please don't imply or otherwise insist that I'm a hypochondriac or that some other factor was at fault), and your dismissive attitude is offensive.

This section of the forum is specifically to discuss this type of health issue, and the FDA or any others lurking for their own purposes shouldn't stop us from being the community that we are. We are here to learn from and support each other. Not talking about these issues does us a great disservice, even if the anti's try to use our attempts to help ourselves against us.

No one else is trying to get to the Truth; it lies on us. Silence is not golden in this particular instance, imho.

BTW: I regularly get heartburn from vaping because inhaling into the mouth and then inhaling into the lungs results in some vapor being swallowed. It is actually a fairly common side effect, if you search the forum.

While there are versions of dictionaries these days that attempt to define many conventions of Internet/electronic communications, the existence of things like that doesn't supersede and negate all other common understanding and perception; I do think it is fair, logical and would be common to consider repeating "Alarm" three times in a title followed by four exclamation points to convey "screaming"/yelling.

I do get what you meant later in your post about heartburn for you indeed being applicable, but don't see a tie-in with the above, which no one would argue or question since hives are probably the most common allergic reaction (and either are or aren't there)... Doesn't matter tho, I was just 'here' already anyway.

I think it's important to be clear/not exaggerate -- most around here by far do not suggest that others keep their issues and experiences to themselves (tho sure, some may wish that, but it's what we actually do or don't do that matters). Only that they try not to use unnecessarily alarmist and wide-sweeping ways in conveying them. That's all too easy to do even just out of habit in reporting one's experiences with just about anything, but it matters infinitely more here than it would in most cases, and it's fair to ask ppl to try -- hard -- to remember that. And yes other related prudence and objectivity, such as if reporting a symptom one has actually had pre-existing instances or signs of, to keep that clear and not give the impression that it's totally new and out of nowhere since commencing vaping. Also, if there are factors in one's lifestyle or history of which one is fully aware could be the real or main cause, not to neglect to mention them.
