You know, we need to share knowledge through this forum, but this entire thread is a sterling argument in favor of giving the FDA control of what is obviously a drug product that causes severe reactions in some who use it. It gives me no pleasure to conclude that.

As BigJimW pointed out in another thread, the "side effects" listed by the FDA in its legal appeal were taken in perfect order from this forum's Health threads. That's not an accident. We have given them the ammunition to kill us with. And they'll use it. Where else is there a collection of complaints from large numbers of e-smokers? ECF is the source of the FDA's negative information.

I assume everyone realizes that any reaction as serious as that of the poster -- projectile vomiting??? - would give pause to any regulatory body considering a product. We are handing them all they need to ban e-smoking.

And the worst posts are from those who fear "nicotine overdose". Please read the Health New Zealand reports in their entirety to realize how LITTLE nicotine a user inhales with each puff of 16mg liquid. Roughly 1/10th that in an inhalation of a regular cigarette. A person would need to suck 30 e-cigs at once to overdose.

Most negative reactions are the body screaming for the nicotine it once got from cigarette smoking. But that won't matter once the FDA reads that e-smoking causes projectile vomiting, etc. The agency "must" act to protect consumers for the public good (sarcasm).

Would you rather me lie, and allow my issue to become exacerbated? Right now, I'm interested in MY HEALTH, and frankly, not what the FDA cares. Yes, I suppose this may give them "ammo", but hey -- what else a I supposed to do.
Clearly, the e-cig IS CAUSING/HELPING CAUSE severe reactions within my body... so maybe it wouldn't even be bad for the FDA to list these as side effects of PG, or whatever my issue is exactly. Hoping to get to the bottom of this. Gunna get some USP Glycerin (IS THIS THE SAME AS VG...RIGHT???) from walmart and vape it up, and see how it goes. Also going to get a bottle of the PG and do the same.

Thanks everybody for the quick responses! Let's try to stay on topic here! Thanks!

    Today will tell!
Gunna do 1 butt this mornings, and then vape all the rest of the day. We will seeee!

I don't understand how others are saying that what I experienced prior was not a nicotine overdose. I dont think a PG reaction would be so violent. When i first started smoking at age 13, I smoked 2 newports right after each other and experienced the same exact symptoms almost. (fever, puke, nausea) but in the newport instance, I was unable to move 1 muscle of my body. I was a rock.. it was weird.

THOUGHT: Could it be remaining high nic/nig pg liquid in my atty still? Ive blown it out like 5 times since i started this neww 6mg juice, though.
