Night congestion?

I don't know if it's related to smoking or vaping at all or if I've just developed allergies recently. I am originally from the western US and moved to the east. There's a lot more pollen and humidity here on the east coast, too. Plus, I have 4 cats! But I don't know why it gets worse at night. If I'm congested at night I wake up feeling like crap because I don't breathe right while sleeping. I just recently tried nasal spray and it helps a lot, but I don't want to use it every day. I occasionally use a humidifier with some Vick's in it and those Breathe Right nose strips. Anyone else deal with this and have any advice/suggestions?
