Sounds disgusting but it really is a good thing! For me I've found that every single morning I wake up the first thing I do is clear my throat and up comes just a little something (don't know what it is) but it's always the same, every single day. Maybe like yourself, it's my lungs doing the same thing getting rid of the little gremlins in my chest.

I quit instantly with my first vape on 4 November 2009. Thank You ECF!

I never went through the "lung clearing" phase - just started breathing better when I switched to vaping.

As a 20+ year smoker, I am looking forward to noticeable improvements in lung function, etc. I haven't had 'smoker's cough' or regular morning hacks except after nights of extreme smoking (at clubs, etc), but if nothing else know I will have greater endurance once my lungs start healing from the abuse!

So far, my biggest noticeable symptom is decreased taste (so far, few of the flavors taste like very much but I get the 'idea'), and so I cannot wait for my taste buds to recover and begin to truly enjoy the variety of flavors we have to choose from!

It's been 1 week for me today. I started coughing up crap yesterday. It was hard to tell, I have/had a smokers cough. Has anyone else noticed their sense of smell coming back? But hey, I haven't smoked 10 packs.

No coughing, but my nose is now clear. I have allergies, but I really can't remember the last time I could breath through both nostrils. And it hasn't even been two weeks yet.

you people are disgusting. LOL...no, I'm j/k (no really).

I've been vaping for a few months now and I've never coughed up anything. My lungs have stopped hurting though, I will say that.
