Do You Really Want to Quit Nic or is the E-Cig Just a "Healthy" Replacement? in Health and Medical Issues; 3 weeks for me and I really have no desire for analogs. Up till now I haven't monitored my vaping ...

3 weeks for me and I really have no desire for analogs. Up till now I haven't monitored my vaping habit at all. I just vape as much and as strong a liquid as I desire, as long as I wasn't smoking tobacco, it was good. I think pretty soon I will start tracking the amount (ml) and strength (mg) that I vape and try to even it out with a goal to reducing my nicotine level.
At this point, I see myself vaping indefinitely.
Can't we all just get along?

I get the sneaky suspicion in the back of my mind that nicotine isn't the uber-addictive substance we've all been brainwashed to accept....I'm very surprised that I don't crave the nic hit - just the controled breathing and the full feeling in the lungs and mouth. I've dropped down to ultra-low (4mg) from my medium starting (11mg), and have plans to go no-nic with DIY.

I'm happy with my vape stick, and have no intention to stop. "They can have my Kissbox when they pry it out of my cold, dead hands."

I always thought I liked smoking, but now I think it is just an addiction. So want to eventually stop e-cigs. I just don't want to be addicted, no matter what it is. If I could vape the same way I drink beer for example, I'd probably continue indefinitely. When I have a craving or taste for beer I can be without, but when I crave a cig, I MUST have it. And I hate that. It is now over a month for me without analogs and I don't even think about them -- for the first time in 20 years. But I do think about vaping, so I have possibly switched one addiction for another.

I'm just happy being smoke-free for the first time in 40+ years. Don't care if I eventually go without nic or not, not a priority for me. Just wish I could get my wife to try the one I bought for her.

I've been vaping for a little over a month, and have pretty much stopped smoking analogs(minus those times I'm out drinking and didn't bring my e-cig, then I'll bum an analog).

I do want to quit smoking the e-cig in the future as I'm sure it still isn't great for your health. The next batch of liquid I buy is going to be 0 nic, as I enjoying the taste/action of smoking more than I care about my nic fix. After a few months who knows, maybe my e-cigs will begin to collect dust.

I have not had a analog since I started vaping, 5 weeks ago. I started at medium nic and am down to low and 0 nic, and I am finding a lot of the time I don't inhale, so I know I can give up the nic, but injoy vaping so much I don't want to stop,
