Filler is disapearing
On my 901 the filler for the cartridges seems to disappear, especially when I use my passthrough. anyone else notice this? Is it melting?
-
Its probably melting on the atomizer...
it might affect the performance of the atomizer ...big time...
-
maybe it's just that the wick-mesh is pushing into it leaving a divot?

The 901 filter material often starts to curl up into more of a ball. All you have to do is remove one 'melting' filter and one newly opened filter, straighten out the material a bit on a paper towel, and compare. Your eyes are better than our guesses.
If you're not sure what's going on, post a photo and we'll take a look at it.

All carts apart from the top one have been used and apart from the second to last squeezed for juice. After a good many of vapes the filling seems to recess. I am worried that I am breathing in chemicals from the cart melting and that it may be more unhealthy than analogues. Does anyone have any info about this?

I could of course be wrong, but to me it simply looks like material being a bit compacted from liquid and use. If I understand your post correctly, your pics show us that your filter material expands back to near-normal size after you squeeze out the juice and let it sit awhile.

the fifth from the top is very short despite squeezing juice from it.

I although I feel sure 'some' little bits of cart fibre do get melted onto the coil ......I shouldn't think the Chinese make the fillings with any kind of mm like precision..so there is bound to be some quite large variations in the size of cart fillings.
