Default Headache

So I started vaping 2 weeks ago. I love it.
I have been getting these headaches. At first I thought it was one thing. Dehydration, stress, alcohol. Then maybe something else. But now I really think it is the vapping.
The headaches don't come till latter in the day. They start like 2:00 PM or 6:00 PM until I go to bed. They are not really bad like a migraine. But they are the center head pain I call it when the pain is right behind my eyes. I did not want to think it was my e-cig because I love it so much.
Could it be the PG? Maybe if I make my own juice with VG it will help? What about different brands of juice? I have only tried one kind of juice so far. The 4 bottles I got to try with my starter kit.
What do you guys think?

Depending on how much the OP smoked before could be lungs freeing themselves....Any black stuff in the mucus with the cough? You will be surprised what you cough up once you stop laying on a fresh layer of tar.

Having COPD I wouldn't inhale ANYTHING but air if I could but we all know thats easier said than done

O yea and I wanted to add that I don't think it is the nicotine strength. I have all 11mg juice. I was a 1 pack a day person, no more.

Simple - if it hurts, don't do it!

Have you been standing in the sun for too long?

Really, if vaping isn't working for you - stop!

No hard feelings? No offense meant.

I have quit smoking in the past and eveytime got headaches when I stopped. This could be the issue. based on what you used to smoke are you getting too much nic vaping? Remember the nic is still in there and if you are getting more nic than you're used to because its smoother, you can definitely give yourself a headache.

HTH

Wow you guys respond to posts fast.

Well I'm not sure really. I was a pack a day or less smoker. I got 11mg juice. So I am not sure if I am getting more or less nic now.
Do to the "new toy" principle I have been vaping more then I smoke.

Fair enough, but really - if it hurts, then don't do it!

It can take a few days to get used to vaping.

If that's where you're at, then you can persevere if you wish.

It works for some people (including me)..

If you were smoking less than a pack a day I would try to give up entirely if I were you.

Addiction is a heavy monkey on your back. You still have time to throw it off imho.

Yea I know what you mean. I have tried to quit before. My problem is I am very much a social smoker. Most of my friends smoke. I can go a while without a cig when I have things to do. Then someone lights up next to me, like my brother. Alcohol and friends make me crave really bad. This has solved that for me.

I think maybe it is a learning curve for me and I need to buy lower nic juice.

On the up side I have not got any analog cigs in 2 weeks. This is very good for me. Also my brother has got an e-cig in the mail now. I think a couple of friends may try to quit anolog cigs because of my example as-well. I still think this e-cig was a great thing for my life.

Sorry I went off track on this post this will be my last post in this thread.

I think you might be vaping too much, let me explain. I started out with the "low" 8 mg juice, but I noticed an increased tendency to vape more often, ESPECIALLY in social situations. I was also a pack a day smoker, so I know the "I've smoked too much today" headache feeling well. I realized what the problem was, I was vaping too much of the low density stuff.

So I started cutting my own juice, went from 8mg to 4mg, currently at 2mg. This way I can vape for longer periods of time rather than get my fix in all at once. I don't have the headaches anymore and I hope to cut the nic level down to zero in a few weeks.

I think the hardest part about quitting is figuring out what to do with all the time you have while waiting around. I don't have a solution for that one yet.
