Default questions about weird chest pains.

so i have been vaping on and off for a year, usually ill stop when i start to get pains in my upper body, almost feels as if i have a knot in a back muscle or a weird pain or flutter in my chest, i have seen multiple doctors and i keep checking out fine. anyone have any ideas what it could be?.. almost feels like gas, but it isn't... 70% PG 30% VG on current juice, and am trying 0 nic (LOL) to see if that makes a difference, but the odd pain still comes back.. doesn't hurt to the point where i am grabbing my chest or back, but is very uncomfortable

Hi khanton. No one on an internet forum is qualified to diagnose your problem, nor should anyone try to! I'm sorry you have't had satisfaction from the doctors you've seen, but the only response any of us can give you is to seek medical advice. If you are accurate in describing your symptoms, your primary care physician should be able to refer you to the proper specialist for tests.

It can be frustrating, I know, as there are so many different medical specialties. I hope you'll keep looking and that you're able to resolve the problem and continue to vape comfortably and safely!

Five Words: Go To The Doctor Now.

It's Probably Nothing. But let Your Doctor tell you that. And not some Wanna-be Health Care worker who Doesn't even play a doctor on TV.

It goes without saying to see a doctor with chest pains of course. Could be completely unrelated to vaping.

I do get a 'heaviness' in my chest from VG. I can have some, but not much before I get that feeling. I wouldn't describe it as a pain though.

Yes, doctor! However, just FYI: I get muscle cramps in my chest and back if I don't drink enough water.

I suspect it is because of the higher ratio of PG eLiquid. I used to have the same problem but then I switched over to 100% VG eLiquids. Got no problems at all and I vape whole day long 24x7

I have personally found I get heavy sore lungs trying 100% VG liquids....I now stay with no more than 50/50 liquids...I do prefer 80pg/20vg when possible and that works even better for me...others do better with higher VG so your mileage may be vary

It is be possible to use higher vg quantites by setting water content at around 15% .
