EGO VV passthru voltage inconsistency issue

My first order was DOA and I received the captioned replacement in less than 2 weeks which I'm thankful for your good service! However, I found this unit unable to stay at both 3.7v & 4.2v for more than 5 minutes of use, it automatically reversed back to 3.2v (red ring) every few minutes. I tried it with Boge 2.0 (SR & LR), Boge 3.0 (SR) and Vision Clearomizer (2.2), all result the same inconsistency of higher voltage settings dropped to 3.2v after a few puffs. Please advice how I can fix this. Thanks!

Thank you for your asking.
Normally the unit reverses back to 3.2v when power is low.
please try it with USB connected with power and see whether it happens again.

Thank you for your response! The battery had been USB connected to a wall adapter (5v 2amp) at all time, the bottom led light was on and went off every now and then (stated on your product webpage that it was supposed to remain lit when connected ???) Unless the battery is having a charging problem which I doubted since it works at 3.2v without issues, it just simply would not hold a higher setting beyond that.

I have the same issue with my Janty eGo 900mah VV PT battery. It will stay on selected v. when not charging/ not conneced to charger. I charge it until the red light (at the mini USB jack) goes out, and after a couple of initial hiccups and redialing it to selected v. it will operate at the selected v. for the rest of the bettery tilme. When conected to charger it will keep going back to 3.2 v. like yours. So I just run it without the PT function, or with the USB at 3.2 if I need it when charging.
