You have not missed it, it hasn't even really been formally announced as I only now got the OK from ECF to start promoting it. But our new site is going to be: www.highdesertvapes(dot)com

Same prices, but new site and should be light years ahead of the old site in terms of ease of use, storing cart contents, wishlists and a a TON of other improvements over my old site.

I've still got some bugs to work out and inventory to update, that's why it's a soft launch and will be a gradual change. I hope be able to retire HDE completely in October.

ETA: Not sure if you noticed, but you have Capella's Egg Nog in the Flavor West section. Might want to fix that. Oh, and the ECF05 code isn't working on the new site either. No big deal, just a heads up.

I would recommend cleaning the positive contact on the chip inside the ProVari, as well as wiping the positive contact of the battery down. Very small dark grey shavings build up after time if you keep taking cells out and putting new ones in without cleaning, as when you're screwing the battery cap on, it grinds the positive battery nipple against the contact of the ProVari.

I use 94% isopropyl alcohol with the extra long q-tips you see at the doctor's office. Just wipe it off the best you can, and if you have long thin fingers like I do, I stick my pinky in there and rub it off.

The grime on the contacts will cause the Pro-Vari to read a much lower voltage than the battery is actually producing. If this doesn't fix it, try noalox on the battery cap threads, and failing that, start checking your batteries with a muiltimeter and compare it to the reading of the ProVari.

Well I tried it and it totally worked!! Thank you for the suggestion L7D4N! I had been just using a paper towel on a toothpick to wipe the connection occasionally but it did not get all the crud off, the alcohol and Q tip did. Amazing! Thanks again bnrk

High Desert Vapes is much better. Both the site and the name. I refuse to call them e-cigs anymore. I wish we would just abolish that term altogether. Even this forum should change it's name, if you ask me.
