Hoosier Vapers Meetup July 14, 2012

Since I've already started a buzz about this I thought I would get this thread started. (I made a phone call that was discussed in the last webmeeting and it kinda' snowballed from there...)

Anyway it looks like there may be a special item for a raffle being donated. And that's all I'm saying until there are full details that I'm free to discuss.

We know the meetup is going to be east of Indy and our member/host is our own Raider Chick. We can thank her after the details of the location are all perfected, but I'm sure she won't mind accepting thanks for the effort she is putting in to secure a location for our next meetup.

So we know the date, July 14th, and we know it is in Raider Chick's neck of the woods, and we kinda' know someone is working on something special for the raffle.

Add details as you know them folks.

Would you like to scout places for an August meet and suggest dates in/around Frankfort?

I know I will be downtown Indy Aug 16-19th and hopefully VaporPhreak will actually show up like he was suppose to last year...

Here's something else to consider folks. I saw another vaper club that was having a hotdog roast at a member's place. I think it was in Florida. I don't know how many of us have large enough yards, with space under a roof as backup incase it rains, to host such a thing, but I'm sure other members would be willing to pitch in and bring a dish or somesuch. I have the yard, but a small-ish house unless I cleared out the garage...hmmmm...

Raider Chick is the latest member to step forward and say she wanted something near her and is doing the scouting work. Anyone is free to throw stuff out. Send me a PM if you're shy and I will be sure to bring it up at the next meeting.

Would a 400+ acre farm suffice? Would a 3000+ Sq ft log house be big enough?
If nothing else, I guess we could all go down to Florida and raid their party! lol! No, but seriously;
I was going to ask about maybe having you guys come here some time, but thought you might not be interested because when we meet in public we 'get the word out there' better.

Edited to add: While I may live out in the middle of Nowhere, I am fairly easy to find. I live just off Hwy 59 past Carbon, IN

A little bird told me that Vapor Lock is up for hosting a meeting anytime in August....

Thought that was kinda' cool.

I think an early fall/late summer hotdog roast at Kay's place sounds great.

Edited to Add:
We have word that a vendor is going to be supplying some juice for the raffle and providing the Hoosier Vapers members a special coupon code. (Ya' know, just in case the winner falls in love with the juice they won like what happened to Mike at the last meetup with the cross-room-thrown juice.)

There are already 5 people signed up for the event on Facebook, which given how little time it has been up and how few details are posted about it, seems to be a great response to me.
