What the... I'm pretty sure that's warmer than the temps here, right now! Plz no snow here...I've got another operation come Monday and crutching around in the snow should only be for polar bears or somethin.

I need to elaborate a bit...it's not the actual snow that's a problem. Snow actually provides some pretty good traction. It's all the surfaces that end up being wet and/or slick that's the problem, particularly when there's salt/snowmelt involved.

    I need 4x4 Off-Road Segway for sure!

How do you get 4x4 with a 2 wheeled vehicle?!?

It most certainly bites. I was living in town when I had the original injury, a block away from a gas station. It took me a bit over an hour to go buy cigs. It wasn't a very big block at all.

Sunshine here too Fran, and t shirt weather for me at 43...woohoo!

Mad, I hear you on the salt/snow melt ice. I live with my (soon the be ex) mother in law who is 80. Even tho she's not on crutches or a walker, I worry constantly about our stoop and walk!

Sending you some extra good mojo for your surgery, and good weather!

I'm glad someone caught that, Oz. Realistically though, I'd just need two bases mated together...haven't figured out the "steering" yet...gimme some time!
