Default Assistance for a Beginner?

Seeking insights for using the product.

Received my kit about two weeks ago, but did not attempt to use it until this weekend. Charged both units for eight hours.

Am I supposed to hear air or am I pulling too hard?

The first couple of pulls I do have the vapor, but then it stops. After a few minutes I can try again and there is vapor again, for two or three puffs. Is this the design for use, just a few drags?

Can you over charge? Or can it charge overnight?
This evening when I put the atomizer on the charger I had a red light, after about 20 minutes the light was steady green - if the light is steady green my understanding is the charge is complete.

Looking for input from other users as to use so that I can move forward and enjoy the product.

Dunno what kit you have - I find slow gentle puffs work better.

Correct. Would not charge unattended, though.

It would be helpful to know what model you ordered.
sometimes you do hear air intake, on my 901's I do....IGNORE the green light, it does NOT mean the battery is done charging...and yes, you can over charge them. I have heard not to leave them on the chargers overnight, so I haven't...

Not sure which model I have, it has a tan cartridge and white battery.

On the video you mentioned heating - I had noticed the tan filter part gets warm, so I can assume this is part of the normal function?

You sound like you have a mini or a super cig. My guess is it is about 4 inches long from tip to mouth piece? If it has a tapered mouth piece you have a mini and if it looks just like a cig, then you have a super cig.

Now... I have to ask. When you received your atomizer, you would have received a cover that looks just like a mouthpiece. No matter what unit you buy from whomever, this piece needs to come off. Screw your atomizer into your battery and pull the battery and brown butt apart.

You should have either pre-filled or non-filled cartridges (if you bought from Instead they will be non-filled). All cartridges for use will come with a plastic stopper that you will need to remove. If you are using liquid, you will need to put 2-3 drops on the cotton wick inside that mouthpiece. Once you have done this, put the mouthpiece on the atomizer. If it is prefilled put it right on.

Now... if you have done all of this...

First: Take the battery off of the atomizer. Put the battery in your fist, LED down and then put your mouth to your fist. Now pull/take a drag. Activate the LED. What you are doing here is unsticking a switch. A stuck switch can occur from several things: Wind, liquid dripping into the battery, over puffing...

Try smoking the unit again. Get it down till it is almost dead.

Then recharge it.

If you got it from us, you should have two batteries and two atomizers. Switch them back and forth using all pieces in conjunction with each other. See if you have some that work better together than others. Also, if you are noticing that after charging you are still not getting any vapor and you have filled your cartridges... you may have a charger problem.

Either way, customer or not, feel free to call me 321.256.0486 and I will be happy to have a Smoke with you. If you are having a problem, we can work through it, figure out what you need, and your supplier will be most happy to cover whatever problem you think you have... hopefully.

Thank you, at this point I think I may have a faulty battery in one, since the other one is still working from the initial charge. The the set I purchased is described as INSTEAD Electronic Cigarette Kit w/ ELiquid
from e-cig.org

Trying to work through a process of possible user errors at this point. In the post above I see one other thing I should try.

The assistance is appreciated

MsB -

My pleasure. That's why we give you two batteries and two atomizers. Once you figure out what you think the issue is, let me know so I can get a replacement out to you asap. (and of course if you get stuck, give me a call)

Once you do figure this out... if you could make sure you email us vs. up here, that will insure you are taken care of immediately.
