    Default Trading Standards collar Intellicig

We knew it had to come eventually. Trading Standards in the UK have finally caught up with Intellicig and I recently spent a couple of hours in their offices answering their questions and going into great detail about our product, electronic cigarettes in general and particularly about our packaging and labelling.
The reason for this visit was that they have been keeping an eye on our operation since early this year and have met up with myself and our Directors on several occasions. They have been so impressed with our high standards and our determination to not only conform to CHIP Compliancy but to make our packaging and labelling the most compliant, specific and informative in the industry - anyone buying our products will see the slight variations between labels according to the level of Nicotine contained, our labelling is precise, just as our Laboratory Reports are precise. I spent the time with Senior Officers imparting as much knowledge as possible to them regarding the whole world of electronic cigarettes so that they could train many other officers and better equip them for dealing with manufacturers, suppliers etc. This is a reassuring move from them as it demonstrates their impartiality and their commitment to treating those within the industry fairly. Anything we can do to build on what we have established is good for the industry and should help smaller businesses to reach full compliance by the time more specific regulations come into force.
Other companies might claim to be the only CHIP Compliant suppliers in the UK but that statement, along with their latest published report, does not cut any ice with us. We shall continue as normal by setting higher and higher standards, being at the very forefront when it comes to safety and inspiring others to emulate what we have achieved. We have a team so passionate and so committed to what we believe in that we can only succeed, we just won't accept anything else and that's got to be good for our customers!
    John.

Good going John. Keep it up. Did they ask you to put it in Glass Bottles by any chance ?
As far as i know if you comply with TS's Standards they will be impartial and will leave you alone.
It's not their business to Stop trade. They cannot decide what people can or can't eat, drink, smoke etc only that it passes their Standards and yours does.

The previous two messages were deleted as they were yet more cheap jibes and insinuations from a supplier. The only time we respond to this kind of material is if it is submitted in writing to our company address. Anyone can claim anything about suppliers, but we reserve the right to respond with legal action. The supplier involved seems to have an obsession regarding our company and its products but we will keep all correspondence private.
Sorry for the deletions but I felt it better to do that than to take part in a public slanging match with the inevitable 'forum brawl' breaking out.
    Best wishes.
    John.
