Thanks Mik! That clears it up!
Hi Quitter,
I know what your talking about... I've got the 510 adapter from Janty and it works great.. Reason I don't use the stick with the 810 atty and cart is because all I was getting was a burnt taste on and off and felt like I was constantly dripping...
I hated the passthrough for the 510.. It was doing great for awhile, but then all of a sudden the 1040 batter went dread and even trying 5 other batterys none of them worked.. The batterys were all fully charged, but the passthrough was dead.. Swore up a storm, kicked, screamed using profanity no one would want to hear in combinations unheard of, then threw the passthrough out...
So it is the "adapter"... That was my question... If you look on Altsmoke you will see the adapter and and the thread pages.. Well they look exactly the same to me so I wonder what ones were being used....
I just have no clue what anyone is talking about as far as a resister.. What the hell is a reisistor anyway?? The Janty 510 adapter looks liie a screw and a plastic cover that's it *LOL*
Healthcabin.net.. No-No-No-No .. About 3 weeks ago I was on there looking around and they had a Stick with a 510 and sold it as much.. It was not with an adapter.. They were selling it as a "510 Stick'... Since they now have changed what they are offering.... It was being offered for $69.95...
So for a spare I'll go to Altsmoke for one of those adapters.. I'll just wait to find out if we are still able to use these since I just woke up and have no clue about what occured yesterday and the Pact Act 2009...

Angel - The battery thread unit is for people building e cigs or replacing the thread part on an existing unit. The adaptor is a converter from one atty to another. You don't want the thread unit, you want the adaptor.
A resistor in simple terms, is a device that drops voltage (add resistance) to a circuit. Janty told me that they put the resistor in to drop the voltage going to the 510 atty to protect the atty. These 510 attys will run at higher voltage without issue so it's just not needed and in fact kills the performance! I'd say you should buy the AltSmoke adaptor and you'll be quite happy. It sounds like you already have the Janty unit. If you get the AltSmoke unit, try vaping on the Janty adaptor for a few hits, then put the same atty/cart on the AS unit. You'll be shocked at the difference! I certainly was!!
So what is the Pact Act 2009?
We have the new protected e-cigar, jantystick batteries available for immediate shipping. The battery model # is 10440P and they are 320mah.
Let us know if you have any questions...

Hi Quitter,
Oh!! I would have thought that if someone had a problem with this thread thing they would just throw out the atty since they don't last that long anyway *LOL*
Yeah, I've had the Stick since September and love it.. I
was getting tired of changing the battery every 2 hours since I'm a heavy vapor-or...
I'll definately buy the Altsmoke adapter.. This is great to know... Thankys!!! Never knew there would be a big differance from such a small part of the e-ciggie..
I could scream about the Pact Act, aaauuuggghhhh!!!!!

I am venturing a guess here: the new ones are protected, as opposed to the old ones?
So you can be double paranoid.
like double gloving before surgery![]()
