Honestly I feel like we are being had, however I take your point about there being space for all sorts of things, and nothing should be dismissed offhand. And you can always make other stuff.

But I think lots of folks including me like the stick, and are expecting something special from the Cameo. And disappointment comes because people expect more from Janty in terms of improving the ecig experience, and that's not a bad place to be.

I understand there are challenges in the things suggested, and some may be too complex, expensive, unviable given the uncertain market, regulation, marketing limitations, and size but I think folks expect companies like Janty should try to do the stuff that can be done, and I am sure you are.

Its a can of worms - and i hope we will crack it open soon, but.. not right now (and i bet this is why noone else has made it either.. - you have to remember that just because something is possible, it doesnt mean its a feasible thing to do from a business standpoint due to high cost of the system - or if it breaks down / and something like that, if not made totally perfect, will break down, often)
Actually someone has, since this is not his/her subforum, I won't mention his/her name or the product.

Also, I'm assuming with this design, you're predicting the eminent FDA ban on e-cig products. Why else would you need to stealth vape. As was mentioned previously, you would need to buy vaporless eliquid(which I've seen marketed already) to make this product truly stealthy. Make it a GPS instead of an MP3 player. Or better yet, the Janty"Maxwell Smart" model, looks like a shoe, but is actually a 510 e-cig /cell phone all in one.

    Hey Raul,

while i do understand you to a certain degree you have to remember that we are developing other products simultaneously. I wont post them right now cause it would be information overload; but each product is geared for a specific type / or situation.

The whole deal with the dispenser system, better carts and so on is a can of worms to open.

    Take the atomizer for instance:

If we are to develop a new atomizer, then it will cost an insane amount of money - and it would probably replace atleast one other atomizer type completely eradicating it off the market. Not only is this something you need to think about very carefully, but you also need china to follow you in this decision. I mean after all the last thing we need right now is 5-6 different types of atomizers more on the market, if you know what i mean.

Also, - even if we are to make it, then we now have to take in account if it will work on 5v, 6v - cause some people are now using that. And if it will work on those , which i guess it would, - then how long would its lifespan be. Then the price on each sold unit, should reflect its lifespan - or estimated lifespan.

    And so on.

Its not only about getting the idea, its about controlling it. And that takes time!

But i do agree we need inventions - and more of them. And I can say that I have a few things up my sleeve that we are working on, which IF succesfull will make alot of people very happy.

But unfortunately i wont say what they are at the moment - for what i hope is obvious reasons.

    - I just wanted you to know that because im working on the Cameo, it doesnt mean im not working on anything else.. i think i work 18 hours a day at the moment..

    After using a shed load of PVs for the past 10 months the only one I now use is the JantyStick, and there are things I dont like about it. To get me to buy something else it would need to be;

    • One larger battery (14500 protected is good)
    • Slot for a dropper so I only have to carry one thing and not two (bin battery number two and replace the gap with a dropper bottle)
    • Slot in other end for a spare atty in case the one in the unit goes while I am out and about
    • Button that lasts
    • ABSOLUTELY NO LEAKS
    • Nice build quality - am willing to pay the price for quality - not plastic! How about a return to the quality we used to expect from Janty?

Being able to carry just one thing around wil be a MASSIVE step forward for most of us, I for one am tired of carrying stuff.

The design here does not tick anywhere near enough boxes for me yet. I presume the shape would mean it is made from plastic?

i ordered a Tally counter from dx to check how much i vape, a cart or battery lasts and so on.
the cameo would just count on its own, and i can sort out bad batteries better if their performance drops.

    hey Andy,

yes the plastic is an IPOD type material of that quality.

We could make it in metal, but plastic is ideal - its lightweight, cheaper to produce and if the proper type is being used it can give a really nice look and feel to it.

Oh dont worry if the USB drive stays in, i will fight to keep the counter in too. I think this one is a very nice idea - some might not like it, but they can just not use it
