Yes, the atomizers are different, making it a different overall experience. And the carts are very similar, though not interchangeable. I believe the 306 is generally considered a much nicer device. I got one for my bro a while back and I was a little bit jealous after trying it.

    Good Luck!

sorry to ask this question here but i am not able to post a thread yet, i just got a 306 mainly due to reading the posts here, loved it for about an hour after putting my 510 battery on it(find the 306 bats to be very finnicky and under powered). with the 510 bats im getting great taste& vapor. but now liquid keeps coming out the rubber thing on the end of the filter(not the hole) . i am not over filling, this does not happen with my 510,401 or 901.has anyone else had this problem with this model

I am not sure I completely understand the issue, but you can pop the rubber cap off with a paper clip and clean it out. Sometimes fluid will collect there over time, but you must have overfilled at some point to get it to leak.

thankyou for the response, when you drip, how many drops do you use and how many hits do you get. and if you dip, how long do you do you leave the bridge in the fluid and how many hits until you need to do it again?
    thankyou Bill

I like the 306 because I can dip so I don't really drip with it ever. With the dipping, the bridge will soak up as much as it is able so I let it sit in there for a few seconds and then tap off the excess. When the atomizer is new and clean I get between 10-20 hits. If the atomizer is a little old it seems like it is less. Mostly I just vape at it until the flavor goes away and dip again. This is all second nature to me at this point, but if you want to get a feel for how long to dip, use a small pool of liquid and watch. You will notice when it stops soaking up the liquid.
