I've got one 510 atty just like yours. After a time the inner wicking kind of just...disintegrated. It started coming out in little chucks, so I just cleared out the whole thing of any remaining fibers and now I have an atty that heats up fine...just no wick. I find that it no longer produces sufficient vapor with a cart, but it works like a champ when I feel like dripping. I've been abusing the hell out of it and it refuses to die.

I may have done the same thing as you, but on accident. It still works but with possibly less vapor and the taste so far has not been great. But, then again, i stopped using it because i figured i screwed it up and didn't wanna damage it further until i contacted the vendor. Maybe i'll start using it again and see how it goes.

I'm still vapin mine with no fiberglass wick in it as we speak. Yes it does produce less vapor than with the wick. I think also after about 3 weeks the vapor production falls off a bit anyway. For me the taste improved without the wick, I don't get that burnt paper plate taste anymore. I think alot had to do with the stray fibers gettin in the coil. I can't really tell how far they were layin on the coil, cause its hard to get a clear view without a tiny fiberoptic cam or something lol. I have found it produces alot of good vapor with Kreel's straw mod or with Wegsters pinhole mod that I made a variation of. A lot of it depends on fresh fuzz in your cart. You should change this out everyday for best performance. It seems the cart mod allows more juice to flow faster thus compensating for the loss of wicking ability.
