Popping the back ends off carts
I may be hallucinating but I popped the back cap off one of my carts the other day and I'm getting a much more interesting vaping experience. With the cap on strong flavors drill into my tongue (and on menthol that's actually quite fun) but with the cap off it's much smoother.
I realize the point of having the cap in place but the way I draw a mouth full of juice hasn't been an issue.
Anyone else doing this or does anyone have a reason why not to?

As far as I can tell it is just there to catch to liquid that gets past the atomizer.

However I see no difference - I`ve removed it and then I re-inserted it....
Now as I read this I tried again but still it makes no difference for me so I`ll insert it back in..

I agree, the hole in the outer piece is the same size as the hole in the inner piece. This means that the air flow should be the same.

Clearly vaping is a YMMV thing, it's a dramatic difference for me at least. A lot of it probably has to do with the way I inhale, I always pull directly on to the tip of my tongue and fill my mouth.
Now that I've done this with a dozen carts or so I'm also noticing condensation (or something) in the chamber which means no matter what else happens those caps are coming off when the carts need cleaning.

I too find pulling the cap off works better for me. I've heard people say it makes no difference. But for me it make enough of a difference to do it. It may only be a slight difference, but I believe, the more the direct vapor the better. No use having another barrier to inhibit the flow, if it's not needed.

OMG: Is that the Cisco Kid?????
"Hey Pancho!"
Hey Cisco!"
Back to the thread....The end on my 901 keeps popping off and I'm afraid I'm going to inhale one by accident. That said, I have not experience any significant difference with or without it.

It is a bit less focused which I kinda like. I'll try it for awhile. Maybe drill a larger hole so it still catches some juice
thanks

I took all mine off a couple of weeks ago. I like to kinda chew on the cart and without the cap it gives better, plus I get a better vape.
